My mother and I both have Rectocele which means we cannot let ourselves become constipated at any time without consequences. I know this is a sensitive subject, but I'm hoping this will help others by being blunt. My mother takes 2-3 tablets every night. It is the only thing she has found that is reliable. If I fail to have a daily bowel movement, I must take 2 that night for results the next morning. It is so natural, no cramping, no feeling of urgency, no side effects. We used to purchase them at Walmart but they quit carrying them for some reason and we went into panic mode. We have tried them all and we wanted our Perdiem! I started ordering them on Amazon and they have not failed me yet. The price is higher and sometimes we have to pay shipping, but that is the price we pay for living in a small town with limited access to drug items. This is all natural product that seems to be doing what it says its suppose to do. I take it as directed and I have no cramps or gas. I think its worth a try if you have problems with going to the bathroom.

I have been using this laxative exclusively every other day since 1987.I have Gastroparesis and this works perfectly for me...I am presently ordering online ...None of my Walmart stores are carrying this anymore...Sadly...I have bought this item from Walmart for years...my GI doctor put me on this in 1987 and it is the best Laxative ever.

These laxatives work as well as ex-lax brand, which seem to be getting harder to find at a reasonable price. I take them because I have to take iron, and it causes constipation. These seem to work for me in about 18 hours, and can cause some gas problems just before they do their job. Overall, however, they work fine.
