No idea and there doesn’t appear to be any mention of it on russell Hobbs U.K. website.

Yes this bothered me but I took a chance and it is a very pale cream and just what I wanted. It is not a yellow cream more vanilla cream! Hope this helps

Q: just received and love it... but inside there is a black cap ontop of a metal tube that pops off, is this correct as it drops into the boiled water

The metal tube holds the red markers for the rapid boil zones, but it is otherwise a strange feature as it bends and reaches nearly to the top of the kettle for no obvious reason. The black cap is presumably just to stop the tube filling with water from steam. The cap doesn't pop off in my kettle so there is presumably a fault.

Telephone 0345 658 9700 I was unable to fit filter. A new one was sent which works perfectly as the old one was obviously faulty.
