Works great!
Great rat trap, cleared out my issue quickly and efficiently and the women in my life love it because there isn’t a mess. I had an outdoor issue with rats messing up my grille, so I placed it on the bottom tray and placed the grille cover back over the grille.I chose this model due to it having the AC adapter and battery option. Only thing I’d change is the location of the AC adapter plug in to the unit, and the length of the chord- but it’s not bad. It is located directly above the entrance to the trap, making it a little tricky for placement. If the chord was longer and the plug was relocated to the top or side it’d be a perfect unit in my mind.

Squirrels not safe
I was pessimistic until the other day. Back yard has been getting ravaged by some rodent. Had this back there for a bit with no luck until the other day. It's squirrel foraging time and I think they a are conspirators as well. Unfortunately mr squirrel squeezed into my rat gauntlet and got buzzed. Don't feel too bad, he was triggering my manual traps with sticks and fruits to crack his nuts. Now the rat I know is there is next! Point being, this thing can wallop furry little creatures.

Product failure
Product did not catch a single rat, despite the old fashioned spring traps catching several in the days after I gave up on this zapper. The two options for power both stunk- a short cord requiring super close proximity to an outlet OR expensive batteries that were completely drained within a matter of days. Add to that the zero success rate and this was a total waste of money.

Product failed to work
I put cheese in both traps and turned on the electric traps. The cheese disappeared from both traps and not a single mouse was electrocuted. Product, as far as I can see does not work. Furthermore cheese was retrieved without harm to any mouse. It was billed as a "humane" instant killer. I have yet after 2 months to catch a single mouse.Eric Allison

DEFECTIVE UNIT
UNFORTUNATELY, product failed and NEVER worked properly. The green light no longer comes on and it no longer powers up or makes the humming sound.. Very disappointed. The unit was plugged in using a 6 volt adapter and not batteries. I am returning the unit for a refund.

worked once...not since
I believed that this product might help with the mice in the garage...so far, once mouse..and they keep eating the bait and not being killed...what is going on...I tested it with aluminum foil and the red light shows...but has not been very successful with its proper function...any suggestions?

Easy to use and effective!
Great product that instantly (humanely) kills the mouse. It is extremely easy to use, allowing you to dispose, reload and reset the trapper. Unlike other mouse traps I've used before it gets the job done without me feeling gross about it. I would definitely recommend buying this product!

exactly what i needed
i usually don't take the time to post reviews, however, this product is worth it.i tried it all but those ***** kept coming back. now for the past few days it works just the way i dreamed. highly recommended & worth every penny.
