It is great but I returned because font was to small for me

The goatskin cover is very soft and feels great. So far it feels like it will be a pleasure to read with the font size and typeface. It's a little smaller and lighter that a traditional study Bible because there are not as many footnotes and no chapter introductions. Overall this is a great Bible, but it has all black print, the words of Christ are not in red. Something else that I encountered is that this Bible has edge lined binding, which is something found in high end Bibles. In the front and back covers are what's called endpaper. The endpaper is glued to the page before or after it by about 1/2 of a page. At first this may seem like a defective product or factory reject, but this actually makes for a stronger cover and spine.

This Bible is all that & a bag of chips. The text is dark and clear. The paper is a great texture, very easy and pleasurable to turn, touch and feel. The three page markers are very soft and luxurious.Further, the footnotes are very easy to access, as they are located on the side, not bottom of the page! The virw from the side of the pages is breathtaking (blue on silver). I just feel ‘good’ when I’m reading this (pun intended).The only struggle I had was to decide what size bible cover I needed (I figured it out, M... you’re welcome!). Great packaging, presentation, etc... I am glad I spent all this green on this Bible and I plan on taking this all the way to the bank (by bank I mean heaven).

I've been looking for a new bible for about 3 years. Every time I find myself at a book store, I rush to the bibles and look for a new upgrade to my 30 year old Life Application Study Bible. This is the bible I've been looking for!I love the soft leather cover, the line matching is amazing and the font that is used is perfect. Couldn't be happier with this new bible! The line matching is probably my favorite feature of this bible. No more ghosting of text bleeding through the page from the other side, just crisp clear text. Purchased here on Amazon for about half the price printed on the box but would gladly pay full price having now seen it.

Such a joy to read. It feels so good in the hand and the layout out of the text, the typeface, the colors used makes for very beautiful pages. The gilding is superb and it smells wonderful. The ribbons are a bit disappointing but they serve their purpose. As there are no cross references and this is single column layout, this Bible is best suited as a reader not not for Bible study in my humble opinion. I can't recommend this Bible enough. You will love this bible.

This is the first premium Bible I ever purchased. Honestly, I always only bought cheap Bibles because the content is the same, and that’s what really matters. However, after seeing a friends bible who had a genuine goatskin cover I fell in love. So after much deliberation I decided to make the plunge into the premium bible world. Truthfully I wanted a Crossway ESV, but the price of this NIV was about half the price. So I decided to make the plunge.I fell in love with this bible right away, thought there are a few things that have been disappointing considering the price. Ill start with the things I love. I love the leather of this Bible. It is incredibly soft and just feels so nice. Additionally the Blue Silver gilt combo looks so nice. The paper of this bible is also excellent. I like to write and underline in my bible, and I love having thicker paper. I’m also a fan of the 3 ribbons that are both a good size and color combo.Ok, the things that I felt were disappointing basically all have to do with quality control. I’m not really complaining about this because this bible is half the price of the really nice premium bibles that are bound in the Netherlands by Crossway or Schuyler. The sewn binding feels a bit lose on this bible and I’ve found some spots where the sewing clearly is messed up. You can see in the pictures I’ve attached. There also have been some pages where you can see the Chinese writing that I presume is to help the workers at the factory in China who are putting these Bibles together. Third, on the goatskin cover, there is some odd markings. They don’t seem like they are an issue of the leather from the animal so much as some other issue. I read another review that talked about some issue with the leather of these Bibles having mold or something and Zondervan replacing it for him. I live in Taiwan, and for me the trouble of doing that from a foreign country seems like to much of a burden, and honestly for me its not a huge deal.Again, none of these are massive issues, but just don’t expect this Bible to be a truly premium Bible like a Crossway or Schuyler. I have actually since purchased a Crossway and also a Cambridge. Both of which I love, but honestly, for the price of this Bible I think it is well worth it. I don’t think the Crossway is worth twice as more as these. I personally would much rather support Crossway than Zondervan, but this Bible is hard to beat for the price you can get it here on Amazon.

Beautiful Bible. Layout and design are high quality. Exactly what I was looking for in a everyday Bible that would last for a long time.Single column format, paper quality, leather work... all as desired.If your looking for these elements, this is a great find for a perfect price.

There is a real difference between bonded leather and high quality goatskin with a generous Yap and it is worth the extra money. But understand this is a very soft binder perfect for laying flat on a table and must be laid flat when storing it you cannot stand it up on a bookshelf for instance like you could a hardbound bible. I use it daily and always admire the quality of the materials each time.

Exceptionally made. Worth every penny, especially if NIV is your favourite translation.This is one of those products which easily surpasses the 5 star benchmark, given its quality at this price point. Highly recommended.

Really nicely put together binding and printing, the goatskin cover is really nice. I have Allan and Schuyler bibles and this one is comparable.

This bible is a thing of beauty indeed. I was looking for a good quality bible and I turned to the reviews here on Amazon to help make my choice. If you are discerning and you read through the reviews here on this particular bible you will see its heaped with praise. Deservedly so. You really do need to hold this bible in your hands to fully appreciate it.I don't believe I could have made a much better choice. Be aware that it is not a red letter bible, but all this has made me do is seek out the words of Jesus, so I can highlight them myself. The Beatitudes has been fun.If you are looking for a fine bible then you really cant go wrong with this one.
