Can you order just 1 plate? My wife broke one and I would like to replace it

I checked and 1 plate is $11.99 plus tax / shipping. I might as well get another set.

Do they get hot when microwaved?

The plates and bowls get hot. When I heat liquids in the mugs, the handles are not too hot to handle.

How big are the bowels?

Six inches across, 18 inches around. Please note, the lids for the mugs are not included. That was bogus advertising. It is an attractive set anyway.

I want to replace two of the smaller plates How can I do that?

You can contact Gibson for information. My husband has broken 3 large plates but my pattern isn't available right now. The price though is pricey so might as well get another set.
