This Thread is Tough!
I bought this thread to use with Sunbrella fabric. It works great for that and I now have enough thread to sew 500 more lounge covers. Maybe a thousand.Being new to sewing I wasn’t sure if this would fit on my machine. The pictures made me think maybe it would. It won’t. So My next order was for a cone thread holder. I’m pretty sure that purchase makes me a professional seamstress! The thread has been in the sun for a week- not nearly long enough to determine it’s UV resistance, but even if my cover falls apart, I have 1400 more yards of thread to repair it with.I included a photo for all you amateurs to see how big this spool really is.

Matched my customer's canvas perfectly
I own a Custom Canvas And Upholstery Business, and I fabricate boat tops. My customer wanted a "Mocha" canvas top for his 30 foot SeaRay Yacht. This thread matched it perfectly.! He was so happy, which made ME happy too.!!

Different brand and color name, same color, same thread
Thread appeared much darker than the spool of different branded and color name thread I received and couldn't use. Turns out brand and the name of the color matters not at all. I now have 2 identical spools of unusable thread. All of which is just the risk of buying thread on the internet. However it still gets 4 stars because it's (they're) very fuzzy. I'm not expecting and don't want bonded thread but this stuff is positively fluffy. Loosely twisted. Makes it hard to thread and plays havoc at high tension on both my Consew and Brother industrial machines. As it stretches over time it gets significantly thinner. So, the tension disks don't apply as much resistance. So, you gradually increase the tension to maintain the same stitch appearance. Until the tension is released by thread breakage or needle change etc. Now you turn the tension down and then start the gradual increase cycle again. Maddening.

Ripped my tent last season
I bought this to fix a rip in my new tent. Very sturdy thread and should work great. Haven't yet used it though.

Sturdy
Used for webbing and outdoor clothing. Very good quality, solid.

Very strong
I used this to repair a couple of handles on heavy duty bags.I tested the heavier bag with a 50 pound load and the stitches held easily.I'll still follow that with a 2nd line of stitches since that bag is sometimes loaded to 70 pounds

This is not sewing or quilting thread
This thread is pretty but is by no means sewing or quilting thread. It has the sheen, weight, and texture of embroidery thread. It frays during use and knots up. I can save it for embroidery and leave it in my will for my great grandchildren as it will take that long to use it up. I will stick to ordering thread from a quilting shop (not Amazon)
