Wedding Videographer’s Review (They’re GREAT!)
I have only used them at one wedding so far, and my wife used them to make some videos with her phone for her work. So this is not a long term review, but I can definitely speak to their function, form factor, and usability. Firstly ease of use, they are so easy to use. Make sure you update the firmware, then you can just pop them out of the case and they work. Obviously you’ll want to adjust the settings to fit your use case, but even if you didn’t, they still work. My wife took them to shoot a video for her work’s social media (she’s a mental health counselor) she plugged the receiver into her phone, clipped the mic on and boom shot a great video with super clean audio. I set them up to automatically start recording internally as soon as I take the mic out of the case, which is great for wedding audio. I’ve already had the internal recording save me. The wedding officiant was saying introductions while the groom was lined up waiting to walk, and they were both talking over eachother so for that portion if I need that audio I will use the internal recording. I didn’t think the wireless audio monitoring would be as amazing and everyone said it was, but I was wrong. My couple wanted to do a private vow reading but they wanted it recorded. I mic’d up the groom, put my cameras on tripods, and gave them their space. The wireless monitoring helped a ton because I could clearly hear that both of their voices were coming through perfectly. The Holly Land Lark Max 2 is so useful, easy to conceal, picks up clean audio, the battery lasted all day. I honestly couldn’t be happier with them. I will say I bought them at full price right before they went on sale and was super bummed. They are worth full price, but if you can snag them on a sale then definitely do that! There is so much more I could say, but they aren’t just wireless mics, they’re tiny little stand alone recorders, that also transmit a clean wireless signal straight to your camera. They’re lav mics, they just do it all. Happy customer.

For me, this is the CURRENT "state of the art" for wireless Bluetooth quality audio capture
There are so many reviews on this more recent Hollyand Lark MAX 2 system. I'm going to be one of the cheerleaders for it here. It's the best small-profile, wireless mic setup I've used, and I've owned several: DJI Mic 2 (really solid, but not as versatile), a couple of "not quite household name systems" such as Rythflo and SYNCO, a Neewer CM28 system and even two other Hollyland systems (the Lark M2 and Lark M2S). For a system that allows for up to FOUR TRANSMITTERS at once, as-needed lavalier mic options, and for smart phone or camera receiver needs, WITH 32-BIT FLOAT, and wireless monitoring (with up to two transmitters), this system is (currently) unmatched. I ordered the system with two transmitters and the wireless ear monitors, and then I ordered--separately--two additional transmitters. The key features are solid: easy mounting receivers for smart phone or cameras, great transmitter battery life, excellent noise cancellation, easy-to-learn on-transmitter and on-receiver button/interface options, onboard 32-bit audio recording on each transmitter (great backup protection for a session if needed), excellent as-needed lav mic options. OH--LET'S NOT FORGET THE CLIP DESIGN for these transmitters, which is the best I've seen. You can use their supplied magnet option if you'd prefer, but this clip design is the best in class for giving you great tactile and audible confirmation of the clip being open or closed. Interestingly, the supplied kit bag holds not only the full system I purchased (two transmitters, both receivers, charging case, the transmitter deadcats, lav mics, cables, attachments, etc.), but also has room (not a compartment, but room) for the additional two transmitters and attachments I purchased separately. The build quality and durability is consistent with what I've come to expect from Hollyland. I cannot believe the value for the cost of this setup and the problems it solves. Highly recommend. I've posted some images of the components, but what you see in the listing for the various kit options are pretty comprehensive. MY MAIN REASON FOR POSTING IS TO SHOW THE EXTRA TRANSMITTERS AND THEIR KIT, AND THE FULLY-LOADED ZIP BAG, which includes those extra transmitters. My point is: you can get this kit and those extras comfortably into that case/bag. If I get some good samples of video/audio capture, I'll post later, but--honestly--there's such good content in place already. I'm just posting to validate the rave reviews and video/audio posts that underscore the superiority of this system. Strong recommendation.

Possibly the best videography purchase i've ever made - really fantastic job
I have never been more stunned by a piece of video/audio equipment. This is just phenomenal. If you're like me and have been waiting for wireless mics to become a more viable option and iron out all the kinks - this is it. Point blank. Everything is thought of, everything is included, and the functionality is FANTASTIC. There's way too many capabilities to list but here are the ones important to me as someone who's been waiting for a viable wireless solution - Mic pack form factor - THANK YOU. No more bulky, boxy, ugly mess like on DJI and RODE. These are EXACTLY the form factor i want. discrete, packed with features. The two stage clip is strong, easy to use, and reliable. I LOVE LOVE the ability to use a 3.5mm LAV with an adapter, but find myself never really using it because this thing is so easy to clip on and sounds great. BE AWARE - not all lavs will work with these types of wireless kits as the pinouts are different. Mics that work in my DR-10L do not work in this. I believe ones that are listed as compatible with the DJI type wireless kits will work. And you may work because one of the only downsides is the included lavs are bulky but with cheap feeling cabling - still glad they included them. Functionality - this is insane. Where to start. The ability to remotely work the mics is excellent - i can turn on and off internal recording, LED color, noise reduction, gain, all of it. And best of all, the receiver menu system is COMPLETE. There is zero need to dig into some app or plug into a computer for anything except firmware update. The menu has a crazy amount of adjustability. Battery life is fantastic - i dont know how they pack it in. The mic packs run seemingly all day (i dont leave them on and running all day but still), and the charging case allows for 2-3+ charges. I've gone weeks without charging the case and multiple shoots. Have had zero issues with range and dropouts - this is always a concern with wireless but this will work for any realistic shoot where you're using any kind of normal lens or even telephoto to shoot your subject. Maybe like a large stadium is the only place i could see these not working - they just connect quickly, reconnect when they lose connection, and i never hear issues. Dropout range for me is anecdotally hundreds of feet and through multiple walls. For weddings they drop out when the bridal party is lining up several buildings away for example. They just give you everything and the value is fantastic without compromising on anything. Love that they give dead cats for both the lavs and mic packs, as well as a magnetic clip attachment so the mics can be either just magnetically attached to things or can be attached through fabric. HIGHLY recommend getting the wireless IEMS. These are game changers. Sometimes they take a second or two to connect and sometimes i mistakenly touch the mute command on the side of them, but being able to just keep them with me, hanging off my shirt or whatever and use them with zero cables is so freeing. Yes it's not going to replace a proper high end monitoring solution, but for events and anything where you dont have a dedicated sound person (which is what this product is geared towards) they are fantastic. BE AWARE, they will be giving you the audio from the receiver, NOT what's actually being recorded in camera. If you want that, you can connect the 2nd 3.5mm cable. Might honestly be the best purchase i've ever made for my videography kit.

Portable, Small, strong clips, and strong signal. 10 stars! Highly Recommend!
A bit complex, however the audio quality and use case scenarios are endless with these if you spend the time to understand all of its abilities. 4 Audio channels into one is a crazy feature, but it works well. I went from Rode Wireless II's, to the Sony ECM-W3's, and now the Hollyland Lark MAX 2. To let everyone know, the Rodes & Sony always have little problems here and there when it comes to signal strength and cutting in and out while recording. The Hollylands have no issues whatsoever. One of the best purchases I've made. Highly recommend!

Excellent Audio Quality, But Needs a Power Button Lock
The Hollyland Lark Max 2 Combo delivers great audio quality and has been a solid addition to my wedding setup. The microphones are small, lightweight, and easy to hide, which is perfect when miking up a bride or groom without being intrusive. Overall, the sound quality is clean and reliable, and setup is quick and straightforward. That said, one issue I’ve run into a few times is the power button. When placing the mic in tighter areas—like inside a shirt or a bride’s dress—it can accidentally get pressed and power off. That’s obviously not ideal during key moments. It would be a huge improvement if there were some kind of cover or locking mechanism to prevent that from happening. Aside from that, it’s a great system and works really well for weddings, but that small design tweak would make it nearly perfect.

Super useful and compact high-quality audio kit
I almost have trouble believing how good this kit is, but I've used it on a few projects now and this set of mics is really quite spectacular, especially for the price. (1): battery life is excellent. I filmed a three-day tournament and the mics lasted long enough for days that went from 8am to 10pm. The receiver would last the whole day. Each mic itself would last about half a day (so like 7 hours). I bought the extra Sony hotshoe adapter to eliminate cables and that is awesome. (2): size is very nice and almost discreet. Putting the magnet on the outside and the mic on the inside of a person's shirt worked just fine. Or just clipping right to their clothes or lanyard also worked great. (3): voice isolation at lowest setting cut enough of the ambient noise (in a large space that held over 350 people) that the speaker's voice came through loud and clear. very convenient and impressive. (4): I haven't yet taken advantage of the internal recording, but I like to know I have that option and I'm sure it'll come in handy very soon. (5): I was hoping that both the full receiver and the smartphone receiver would work simultaneously, but it appears to have to be one of them at a time only. Not a big deal, just would be nice to have if using an iphone as an extra camera. Hopefully Hollyland can add that as a firmware update?

Blown Away – Professional-Grade Wireless Mic That Delivers
This is an incredible wireless microphone kit. I’m honestly blown away by how well it performs. No show-stopping complaints here—this is as close to plug-and-play perfection as it gets. 🔌 App Not Required – Huge Win First and most importantly: the app is 100% optional. This was crucial for me. Many modern devices force app reliance, which can hurt the user experience if the app is buggy or lacks features. With the Lark MAX 2, everything works flawlessly without needing the app. Big plus! 🎯 Purpose I bought the Lark MAX 2 Combo for use with my Sony A6400 while filming an indie movie. I needed reliability, clean audio, and quick setup. This will also be used for interviews and other creative projects going forward. So far, it’s exceeded my expectations. 🎬 Performance & Compatibility Works seamlessly with both my Sony A6400 and iPhone 16 Pro. Setup was true plug-and-play — no issues connecting. The receiver shoe fits snugly on my A6400. It feels secure and stable. Mic quality is crisp and professional. Far better than I anticipated. Features like mono/stereo modes, AI background noise removal, and low-cut filter offer fantastic flexibility. Internal recording is a game-changer — simple to use and incredibly useful for backup or syncing in post. 💡 Lessons Learned / Things to Know You cannot connect the mics to the camera receiver and USB-C receiver simultaneously. The included travel bag has a strong plastic smell — the typical “toxic” odor from certain manufactured plastics. If you're using a camera cage, be aware the camera shoe mount won't fit properly. The cage interferes with the receiver. The receiver’s cold shoe isn’t adjustable, so while it fits my Sony snugly, it may not fit all camera shoes securely. Navigating the receiver’s menu is essential. Every setting affects your audio significantly—take time to learn it. When accessing internal recordings on a computer, avoid USB hubs. My computer didn’t recognize the files until I connected directly to a USB port. ✅ Final Thoughts This is a premium wireless mic kit with incredible value for content creators, filmmakers, and interviewers. Hollyland really nailed the functionality, compatibility, and audio quality. And best of all—you don’t need an app to get the most out of it. Highly recommended.

Best Wireless Lav Mic I've Used - Sounds Amazing!
Honestly, the Hollyland Lark MAX 2 might be my favorite gear purchase in a while. I've been using it for content creation and video work and the audio quality is just phenomenal — clean, clear, and surprisingly noise-free even in less than ideal environments. The AI noise cancellation is legit and not just a gimmick; it makes a real, audible difference when you're recording outdoors or in a busy space. The setup is super easy and the wireless range is solid. I've had zero dropouts during shoots and the charging case keeps everything juiced up nicely. The clip-on transmitters are lightweight and stay put without being uncomfortable to wear for extended periods. It also works great with my camera AND my phone, which is super convenient when I need to switch between setups. If you do any kind of video work — YouTube, real estate tours, social content, interviews — this mic system is a must-have. It's one of those tools that just makes everything easier and more professional without a huge learning curve. Super happy with this one, easily five stars!

Comprali.
Latenza zero (20ms) e Zero Interferenze: Monitoraggio in cuffia in tempo reale, pulitissimo e senza quel fastidioso micro-ritardo.

Highly recommend!!
The first thing I want to mention is the delivery! I ordered this in the morning at 10am and it arrived by 7pm on the same day! Getting onto the actual review tho. I was torn between getting the Hollyland system or the DJI system, I had tried both of them at different events and decided to go with Hollyland, mainly for the wireless audio monitoring and I must say, I’m blown away with the quality. 32 bit float audio is no joke. I do a lot of filming with cars and being able to record 2 channels of audio is extremely useful as I can put one mic in the engine bay and one inside the car and with how strong the magnets are I have no concerns about the mics falling off. I also love the ability to plug in a lav mic, I’m not a fan of having mics in shot when I’m filming and being able to use these as transmitters instead makes it really useful. You get loads of accessories in the box and pretty much every cable you’ll need. The audio quality out of these mics is insane for their size and you’ll definitely notice the difference in quality. Overall I’m really happy with these and they have been a massive upgrade to my audio setup.

Great product with a minor design flaw
Works as expected. The main inconvenience for me is inability to put transmitters into a charging case WITH the magnets attached. It is such a simple detail that would save time and effort. I really enjoyed the ability to monitor audio wirelessly - no cables, dangling from the camera.
