Cablecc Micro SD TF to SD Card Kit Mini Adaptor for Extra Storage Air/Pro/Retina White

Finally found a low profile micro sd reader. I need something that wouldn't stick out of the side of my laptop as I kept catching it. This sits flush with the side of my laptop so I can't catch it.

Doesn't look much, but if you own an older Macbook Pro or Air with an SDXC card slot and have a micro SD card lying around, this is the biz. Slip the card into the adaptor and the adaptor into your mac and it does what it is supposed to.

Very poor quality item, one of the connector pins inside bent upwards after only inserting three micro SD cards. Now micro SD card won't insert, it just catches on the one pin which is bent slightly up.

Ok so great for the Mac. But some idiot write it fitted his Acer swift. Well I can tell you it doesn't. For the 14 inch it's too short and doesn't work. For the 13 it still sticks out a mile. But for the Mac it's described for its great.

SD card don’t stick out side of laptop so far with this device in use. Next version please make it even shorter to stick out even less

Cheaply made, poor quality but does what it should. Unfortunately it reliably gets stuck in my SD slot and I have to pry it out with force, hopefully this isn’t damaging the slot internally. As such, this is pretty much permanent internal storage now as I’m afraid to force it back out!!!

Perfect for my old mac book pro. I boot linux mint from an old micro SD card. This will provide a lower profile sticking out of the side.

cheap Chinese plastic and poor quality connectors inside got bend after I used the adapter with 4 different microSD cards the connectors inside got bent after very light use and now the adapter is no longer working. If you only intend to use it with one microSD card and never change the microSD card inside - then it might work for you, otherwise - avoid. It also sticks out of the macbook pro M2, so not quite flush if that's what you are expecting

This is a wonderful adapter. I use it with a micro-SD card on my Macbook Air for a year now, and it's permanently attached. I use it as an expansion drive. The small profile is perfect. Only the round part sticks out, as if it's not really there. I have no fear that it would break. Solid performer. Recommended.

Saw another review warning that it broke and a piece got stuck inside the expensive Surface laptop. As I intend to always have it in to expand the disk space I bought it anyway, because of the price, and the cost of the alternative, which would have fit perfectly inside my Surface Book. This one sticks out some mm, but it's ok for me. It did almost get stuck when I checked if it was the same for me as for the other guy I mentioned, and it almost broke when trying to pull it out, but it didn't. Now I just leave it there.
