Ascension Codes

This album is a bit more accessible than some of Tom Kenyon's other works. The only problem I had with it is that the liner notes are in german and I thought it was the English edition. So I had to go off a review of the album on amazon; first track focus on pineal gland /brow chakra etc. This guy has a very striking voice sounding sometimes shamanic sometimes like Mongolian throat singing sometimes very otherworldy. I can see why some may find it reminiscent of a 'lunatic being dragged through a briar patch' as one reviewer put it(that made me nearly pee myself laughing) but remember, this stuff isn't rock'n'roll . The third track sounded native American something about healing the heart I think. Part way through the next track, a feeling of immense sadness and desolation came over me as though the loss of every loved one in my life over the years (family ,friends and beloved dogs and cat) it me all at once and I cried my eyes out through the rest of the track. Something really mournfull in the progression. I am not normally a weepy person but I know from experience that when this stuff comes out of you ,you have to let it. Must have been some grief that was lodged in my system releasing and I'm gratefull to Tom Kenyon for helping me to release it! Fair play to you. Wish I had the English sleeve notes though.

There are six tracks on this CD.In the first one, "Pineal Dimensional Attunement", you should focus on the central area of your brain and imagine that the sounds are emanating from the pineal gland. This should have the effect of stimulating your pineal to "respond to the higher realms of spiritual light".I found the second track, "El Ka Leem Om (Chant of the Elements)" challenging. You have to identify certain sounds, which was the challenging part (or perhaps I didn't listen carefully enough), and then send feelings of gratitude to the outer element in question and then to the inner element in your body, and so on. (The sounds are fine, it's only what you have to do while listening that's challenging.The third, fourth and fifth tracks ("Heart Mending Song", "Manna" and "Heart Dimensional Attunement" I found delicious. In "Heart Mending Song", which is for emotional healing, you focus on the heart chakra, or the physical heart, feel the arising emotions and let the sounds vibrate through the areas of your body where you feel the emotion/s most strongly. When listening to this track, it seemed to me that time slowed down or stopped.Tom K. states that Track Four, "Manna", has "potent healing and regenerative properties". Since energy follows awareness, "the nourishing and regenerative properties" of manna will come to those places where your attention is focused. The heart chakra is stated to be a good place, or areas or organs in need of healing. This is a lovely track with gentle, loving sounds in a simple "refrain", if this term can be used, that cleansed my heart chakra. I found this track, like the preceding track, to be addictive, and I listen to them both again and again.In Track Five, you should imagine that the sounds are coming from your heart chakra, Both this track and the "Pineal Dimensional Attunement" track can cause psycho-spiritual cleansing reactions if listened to for too long. See Tom K's web site to read about this phenomenon.The final track, "Worlds Ascending", was created as a "sonic background for the Holon of Ascension". Again, see Tom K's site for information about this. But you can just listen to the track, focus on it, and thereby "travel into your own inner worlds". These are, again, gentle, loving "refrains".I strongly recommend that you get hold of this wonderful CD.

Sound is the foundation of creation, and so, using these special sounds in meditation is a powerful experience. The brain hears notes that the ear misses, and the overall effect is one of expansion, stillness, and balance. Don't use it whilst driving, as it spaces you out without realising it. Enjoy!

A really wonderful CD especially for deep meditation and focusing on each chakra or gland. i.e. the first track is written to meditate on the pineal gland. I highly recommend Tom Kenyon and his vibrational resonance sound.
