DION was big time in the 1950's Be-Bop.. The CD is from the early 2000's so the quality is still good.I have a very wide library of music so this will fit right in to my collection. I wan't around in the 1950's but listen to this CD makes me think just how lucky my parents were.

I love the cd it reminds me of my teenage years

Love this CD of Dion. It has all his greatest hits and the sound is fantastic. For all you Dion fans this is the one for you. Well worth the price!!

The greatest individual singer of the early years of Rock and Roll has to be Dion(and The Belmonts). No, not even Elvis can match the quality, rhythms and production of every one of the songs on this cd. Too many great songs to mention here but it starts with a great rocker in I Wonder Why and never lets up. I didn't realize that Dion wrote and arranged most of his songs. Even his later stuff such as Abraham, Martin and John were his originals. I loved Gene Pitney, Paul Anka and Neal Sedaka but Dion is heads and tales above all of them. One of my favorite "best of" cd's and if your traveling and need a pick me up...especially with a couple of baby boomers...this cd will not disappoint....

He(Dion) and The Belmonts were of a different kind of sound, although they were still "Rock and Roll", he had his own sound; uniqe; one you could pick out and identify, as soon as one of his records came on the radio, that New York, Bronx voice and accent, and throw in the Belmonts, they just added to the music of the 60's era, the fast dances, or, the "lights down low" slow dancing with your favourite girl.(or any beautiful, poni-tailed" chick"),at the back of the Gym. V.B.

Wish there were a few more songs of Dion with the Belmont's but otherwise a good CD. Run Around Sue was the first 45 I ever purchased and still one of my all time favorites. If you like Dion you won't be disappointed.
