So this is day one of having these lights and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised at how nice they are. Not that I was expecting junk or anything. But just because of how my luck generally runs with this sort of thing. So right out of the box, they were a little smaller than I expected but I have a couple of tiny LED flashlights that work on 3-AAA batteries and are brighter than my 5 D-cell Maglight so I knew that size wasn't an issue. These are for a little built-in cupboard/drawers we have in the hallway by the bathroom that houses our extra shampoos and that sort of stuff plus all of our 1st-aid stuff and a lot of prescription medicines so there's big easy to ID stuff as well as small print items. They throw enough light to allow us to see everything in there. I looked for quite some time at an awful lot of these kinds of lights and this was the only one I found that was actually directional. The motion detector looks back for any human movement and the lights shine inward and NOT back into our eyes. That's a really important feature for me and it works perfectly. It senses movement readily. We don't have to wave at it or jump up and down and it turns off shortly after it stops seeing any movement. So far, I love these things. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone and I'll probably be buying more of them very soon. If there are any issues related to longevity I'll come back and post them here but it doesn't look to me like there's much that can go wrong with them. I wouldn't think durability is an issue either since you only have to touch them when they need a charge which is done with a USB cable just like your phones and lots of other stuff. SO no batteries to buy/replace. So far so good. In fact, I'd say so far so spectacularly good! {8^) 9-Months later: These have been in use for 9 months now and I must say that there is absolutely NOTHING to dislike about these. They work incredibly well, they're rechargeable, and they're so simple to install it's silly. I can't recommend these highly enough.

Very pleased. I spent more time trying to figure out the instructions. Once I got them up, it was great! They charged quickly and were bright in my closet. I keep the doors open so they are on/off many times a day. Still the charge lasted for months. Also, the light began to dim, gently warning of a need to charge. That impressed me, as they remained functional. I hesitated but really like these lights and only wish I uad purchased sooner.

I have a tiny, narrow closet with minimal visibility, and this light has been an absolute game changer—at least, when I remember to keep it charged. The motion detection feature is great, and not too easily triggered. For example, my cats don’t set it off typically, but it will respond to me immediately. I like the color of the light, as it’s not too harsh for the purpose I need it for. It’s a standard white LED, which is decent enough given that I only need it in that one small spot of my closet. I have a solid wooden shelf over the metal clothing rack/bar of the closet, rather than a wire one, so it was very easy to install with the adhesive tabs included! I love that the light is magnetic, as it makes it easy to detach for charging. I would recommend, however, that you avoid the motion sensor setting unless you are willing to recharge the light on a weekly basis. Charging does not take too long, but unfortunately the motion sensor will run down the battery quickly. All in all, I’m gonna stick with 4 stars! It is lightweight, easy to use, and works well for a small, USB-chargeable light! Good value for what I paid, and it makes seeing the depths of my long skinny closet so much easier.

This motion sensor light strip works great in my pantry. I placed it on the inside crosswise door frame pointing inward and it lights up the entire pantry with awesome lighting!!

This is an amazing light. It's so easy to install and that makes it an even better buy. It gives enough light to see things in my closet in much more of a clear view. I purchased 1, then another, and one more as of today. My closet isn't that dark place anymore that I practically had to use a flashlight in, to find anything. I love that you can take it off the magnets connected to the wall and charge it on the cord provided. It charges fast. Definitely a keeper! I recommend it highly. Game changer! (I bought 3 because I love the light and wanted enough coverage to light up everything in the closet.)

These are great for closets and under cabinets. Bright lighting and no electricity or batteries. Just charge them about every 3 months. No drilling

I'd really give it a 3.5. There are some caveats to that though. 1st I had ZERO lighting to begin with and then purchased these. Now there is light, some light now. It seems they were fairly bright, well, usuable in the dark to be sure but in daylight ambiance it seems pretty thin as I look at it now. Now, I don't always get dressed or address the closet in darkness so after a time I began to notice how they didn't perform, with background light available. Another note- my closet is a full one. The rep picture for the product would be delightful but my hangers really are stuffed in there and shelving it loaded too. I'm sure that has a way of absorbing the useful light in some degree. It is not that they are worthless by any means. It is just that it is a pretty low bar standard for what my eyes want. I am curently looking for replacements. I'll use these perhaps in a garage cabinet where there is zero light, all the time. on a brighter note: Battery life is quite good and ease of installation. Mine had extra magnet plates JIC I needed to moved it else where, but barring that, a spatula would remove old ones easily. Update-after checking a coat closet that had the same bar in it. It is bright as when we first installed it. While simultaneously the bedroom closet one has gone down to a dim light. I suspect the battery(s) are toast already. Just a bad example on this particular one.

Overall, a good light. It isn't overly bright, so will need more than one if using in a closet. Also, the adhesive on the small pieces isn't very good so suggest getting something that stick better. Also, you have to remove the light to charge or get a reallly long charging cable, if you want to leave in place. If you use the magnets, you can remove and take closer to the charger. I did this and the adhesive pulled the other part off the wall (with paint) so again, get better adhesive or use the 3M products to hold up. The magnetic hold is strong so no worries about it falling off good and the 2 foot radius is legit for auto on and off. The power switch is way too small to easily turn on manually, so leave the sensor as the main mode. Overall, decent product, but again, use better adhesive, get the 3M products, and you need more than one light for a closet.

I bought this light as I wanted something to put above the toilet in the bathroom for my young son as when he goes to the bathroom in the night he struggles to switch on the light and wakes everyone up . I have just fitted it and must say it is fantastic it gives out plenty if light and comes on as soon as you open the door and you can easily remove the light and use it like a torch if you need to i think I will buy another one for my wardrobe I'm that impressed.
