BLACK+DECKER BCED26 Portable Dryer, Small, 4 Modes, Load Volume 4 kg., White : desertcart.in: Appliances Review: After testing it out on my bed sheets and comforter, I can attest that this dryer is fairly exceptional. I did the sheets and queen size comforter as two different loads, but it dried them just as fast, if not faster than a normal dryer. I will add though, that I had to open up the back and examine a loud noise after putting the comforter in. What I ended up discovering was that a piece of foil tape that was covering a sensor wire in the exhaust had come off partially and the air was making it create a strange screeching noise. After securing the tape and reassembling, the noise was gone, and the machine was functional as normal. At first I thought it broken immediately under the weight of a queen size comforter, but alas, it was a little piece of tape making a sound. The comforter dried in less than 30 minutes, which is phenomenal for this portable dryer. I will state that my portable washer is about as big as they come before being normal sized and it has a very good spin cycle, so that certainly helps. I would highly recommend this little dryer. I actually ordered a 3.5cu from an alternative (generic) brand for about the same price, but it arrived beat to absolute hell and wouldn't function, so I returned it immediately and opted for this Black and Decker brand. While it is smaller than a 3.5cu, it absolutely will get the job done, and potentially better than the generic brand 3.5cu. If anything, get the Black and Decker 3.5cu if you want bigger, but I think the 2.6cu is plenty enough. This little 2.6cu arrive in mint condition as well, which is always nice. I feel like it is hit or miss when ordering big appliances on desertcart. Guess I won the lottery. Review: I've been rack-drying my laundry for the past couple of years - and quite happily, even if it did take a long time and took up a lot of space - so this is like super-luxury for me. Now that I have it, I don't know how I lived with out it, to be honest. It's much bigger than I pictured, even though I knew the measurements - consequently now i have to find a better place for it. Don't misunderstand - i'm thrilled, just a little taken aback by the size. I mean, when I saw the box it came in and that poor desertcart Delivery fellow struggling down my hallway with it, I thought maybe I'd ordered the wrong one. I could fit inside that box, and i'm a pretty big guy. Any way, size concerns out of the way, it's amazing. I love it. I did a "test" dry of five t-shirts, six pairs of underwear, and four pairs of socks and it took just under an hour. That may sound like a long time, but unless you're sitting watching it spin, it goes by pretty fast - and it's MUCH faster than drying on a rack. As for noise - it made noise, but nothing I found terribly irritating, just regular white noise, and with my headphones on I didn't hear a thing. One less star for ease of use - only because it took me a minute to realize what the "universal" symbols on the "auto-sense" feature meant. I had the option between O and _ . After reading the manual, I now know that O (obviously, apparently) stands for "ON". For ECO mode there's a Leaf and a T-Shirt which I figured out pretty quickly, but for some reason O and _ had me stumped. Let this be my gift to you all - O means ON. TLDR: It's bigger than you might realize unless you're good at visualizing sizes (clearly I'm not) and while the buttons may mildly confuse a cabbage-brain like mine, this is a fantastic machine and I love it to bits.

The unit started screeching at 6 months and became unbearable by the 10th month. I requested a refund, and the company initially agreed. Acting in good faith, I cut the cord and peeled the sticker as instructed, sending photos. After I complied, they denied my refund and offered only a replacement. They could have told me refunds weren’t possible before I destroyed part of the product, which feels like an abuse of their own process. The product is not working as intended and could fail at any time, which is very concerning. Combined with misleading customer service, this experience makes it impossible to recommend this product and this brand in general.

Installed in RV, upgrading from a condensing washer / dryer which takes forever. At first I would have given it 5/5. Dried excellent given its 1500w element. After three loads belt started squeaking. On inspection found the most horrendously designed cheap contraption imaginable. Plastic tensioner pulley isn't even on a bearing, just a cotter pin. Designed to fail, guaranteed. Had to clean off assembly lube from belt, and 100% assured to have to upgrade parts in order to keep this going. High priced for what you get, but limited options in a mobile application necessitate continued use unless you want to try some other manufacturer of equally questionably quality. Good luck, and get a warranty because you'll use it.

I'd pay $300 for the way this thing was built. I fixed 2 of them so far and it's terrible how they made it. Basically putting toothpicks together and charging the most you can for it. Known for making lots of noise and the motor breaks easy. It will probably come broken unless the delivery is done very well. Hope this helps anyone on the fence
