I can not say enough about these. I've use Tampax for decades, but I have recently been making the switch to a more organic/natural/cruelty-free lifestyle. I decided to try organyc tampons because they claim to be organic cotton, cruelty free, bleach free, and hypoallergenic. I didn't even know that the burning and discomfort from tampons was abnormal. These are amazing! I can't tell I have a tampon in, there is NO discomfort or irritation at all. I am a fan already and will never buy a box of mass produced, insecticide filled, bleached tampons again.Pros:I literally can not tell they are in.Comfortable.No irritation.No yeast infections.No dyes/fregrances/or harsh chemicals.Cons:I'm glad I read reviews before purchasing, you MUST twist to separate the two parts of the applicator before attempting to insert.Insertion can be difficult, but patience is key here. I've found that practice does indeed make it much easier to insert. Just slightly start to push the tampon out before inserting, it will make it easier for the tampon to exit the applicator once inside. I will absolutely admit I had to waste one the first use because, yes, they were a bit more difficult to insert.Yes. I would absolutely recommend these to any woman looking for an organic cotton tampon.Yes. I will buy more!

I have read different articles about how full of pesticides and insecticides many cotton products are, including tampons. In spite of the higher cost for these, I thought it was worth it to try them. I was pleased. I had read a few reviews saying they are difficult to insert so I was prepared for that. I found that if I twisted the tampon in the applicator first, it was easier to insert. It's sad to have to pay high prices to try to avoid all of the toxins and chemicals being put in everyday products.

Overall, these are very good organic tampons. Others have complained about the applicator - which is a little tricky, but once you get the hang of it, there aren't any problems. If you twist the applicator a couple times and tap it lightly (just enough to ensure it's moving) before inserting, you shouldn't have any problems. If this is too much work, try  Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Organic Cotton Tampons - Regular -- 20 Tampons  or  Natracare Organic Regular Tampons With Applicator 16 Count  - they both are flawless.

Like some women have mentioned, there's nothing to grip onto when inserting :( which makes them barely worth it. Once it's in there's no leakage, they work great in that aspect. Not sure if I'll order them again though.

I had been purchasing Tampax Pearl, until I went on a natural health product streak when I found out what awful chemicals are in everyday beauty products (not to mention food!). When I realized that cotton was one of the products with the most pesticides, I decided I didn't want pesticides inside my body every month. So I did some research and found these tampons. They are slightly expensive, but they come in a two pack. I usually order a two pack of regular, super and super plus sizes about every 6 months. They have been great and haven't leaked at all! I did like plastic applicators better, but it's a small price to pay. Great product!

Bought these because I seemed to have developed an allergy to other similar products (after having my third child). I still had a little bit of a reaction, but definitely not severe like I have been in the past. Going to use this for the next few cycles to see how it helps. Will update this review if necessary.

I really like this brand of cotton tampons. It absorbs well and the string length is not overly long. It feels great not to put more garbage in my body. We get enough from everything else including the air. Death from above! An old Command & Conquer reference... Listen to General Solomon and get those SAM sites lock and loaded. This tampon is as good as any SAM site for this matter.

I don't use tampons very often but there are times when they are called for. My body cannot tolerate the bleached over the counter standard versions and seems to almost reject them. I first found these on a close out sale and decided to buy them and I'm glad I did. I have three boxes and feel secure that when I need one it will be there. Summer is here and I don't want to miss out on a nice beach day because I don't have one. I highly recommend spending a little more to use something like this that I feel is not toxic to my body.
