These belts got a brown and black one they smell, great, beautiful leather quality and fit perfectly

Looks super expensive!

I ordered this belt because I have a brown one just like it and it’s the best belt I’ve ever had. So I assumed the back belt would be great too. This belt however is about an inch shorter than the brown one of the same size. But as it’s handmade by different craftsmen it’s not so bad. I just go up one belt hoop. Now, I had bought the belt hoping to replace a ‘made in China’ black belt of mine to go with my suit, but the picture and the product are a few shades apart. The belt I got was more grey than black, so I am simply using it as another casual belt. I wish that the color matched the picture online but it’s still a good belt. Just not one I can show off when dressed up unfortunately.

There's a certain nostalgia for the sturdy, long-lasting appliances from our parents' era, like the enduring avocado green washing machine or the pale yellow refrigerator that served faithfully for three decades. We once prided ourselves on owning goods that were of high quality and durability, made to last. However, it seems that era has regrettably passed.I wore the same belt for 20 years, purchased from Dillard's, before the buckle broke. I remember it withstanding the daily wear and tear with only minor signs of use. When I set out to replace it, I found a market saturated with products made overseas, none of which lived up to my old belt's quality.I bought this belt specifically because it was marketed as American-made and had promising reviews. But the reality was a disappointment. The leather was too soft and pliable, lacking the rigidity I'd grown accustomed to. Perhaps some prefer this softer style and if so, I extend my apologies to the manufacturer for my criticism and would encourage such buyers to consider this product.However, if you're like me and prefer a belt with some stiffness to it, something that doesn't feel akin to tying a rope around your waist, you might be let down by this belt. I kept mine mainly due to the annoyance and hassle of buying and returning multiple options. My experience has led me to believe the golden age of online bargain hunting may be at an end. From now on, I'll be opting for in-person purchases, unless I'm entirely certain about what I'm buying and confident it won't turn out to be subpar imported goods.

Originally bought the 36-in belt. Lost weight and got the smaller one and black. Best belts I've ever had. They haven't frayed. They don't look like they are those cheap expensive brick and mortar brand store department belts with a big name to it. These things are built the last. Just look at the double stitching in my picture. You can tell the people who put these together are craftsmen and craftswomen to build their goods to a standard. It's even comfy sitting down, corner of the belt doesn't jab into my waist when I sit.These are not the only leather products I have of this brand. I now have their pen holders, cast iron handles, bookmark. Not sure about the other comments where theirs were made but mine came with a leather tag from made in Guatemala.I'm a customer for life with this brand.

I got a Hide & Drink belt a few years ago, first a brown one, then a black one. Great belts, well made, good looking, well worth the cost. Recently lost the black one on a trip and ordered a replacement. Shocked by the drop in quality of the belt that arrived. Half the thickness in leather, clearly made cheap. It's a shame to see a good vendor go bad, but I'd avoid if you're looking for quality.

These are my husband's favorite belts. He loves how flexible they are. Happy to have finally gotten a black one. We've had brown one for years with good durability.
