This Galaxy S5 charging port is listed as being for a Verizon version of the phone, but should work on any model. I used it on a US Cellular version and it worked fine.If you have never changed one of these, be prepared for a stressful experience. Research directions, either printed or video. Instructions do not come with this charging port. Changing the port requires using heat to loosen the adhesive holding the screen on and removing the screen by prying it out. Pry too hard at the wrong angle and you could damage the screen. Be too aggressive, and you could yank one of the connecting ribbons off. Go slow at it. I found a video on YouTube that showed an obvious professional replacing one in 15 minutes. It took me around an hour.In the end, this port works as good as new. Glad I tried this rather than replacing the phone. Phone works great and no reason to be held hostage by my provider. Shipment was received quickly. Would recommend this product to others.

Just installed and everything seems to work perfectly. Not for the faint of heart, though! One caution ... make sure you watch a demonstration video where they take a screen off of an untouched phone that has never had its screen taken off before. The reason for this is that if the phone has been taken apart before then the screen will come off very easily and you won't learn how truly fragile and difficult it is. For instance, the tools that come with this set to pry the screen away are useful, but the videos I saw of a never removed screen showed how to use razor blades and thin cards to take it off very carefully. with patience I was able to install this new charging port into my Galaxy s5. I gave it 4 stars insted of 5 because if it came with instructions would be better. Had to find a you tube video to help me.

Make sure when you try to replace this charging port on your own to purchase an extra screen. I tried to do this on my own and watched the videos for DIY and still broke my screen. You may also need a new home button if you're unable to get it off without damaging it. Part fixed my issue I am now able to charge my phone.

Part is good to use on the Verizon S5. The extra screwdrivers are just awful quality though, but the plastic picks and spudgers do the job well.Be extremely careful when taking the adhesive covers on the back and recent apps pads. I had to order another because I ripped off the touch sensitive part of the back button when taking the cover off.

This product arrived on time, well packaged, seems to be of high quality, however i broke the screen on thebphone while opening it. Still haven't bought a replacement lcd

Could have come with a few more pics to help get the screen off, but everything else was there to do the job.

Had to fix wife's phone. But from never fixing a charging port this was a good product. Fits the S5 and works great. Had to get a different screw driver than the one included. It wasn't the right size and neede a smaller one. But other than that worked good. Instructions included didn't help had to youtube it.
