Works for GC games on Wii, and seems to be a good value.
Edit: I reduced my rating to 3 stars for two reasons. First, the left control stick has some problems with centering calibration. That is to say, sometimes the resting position registers as an up or down movement. On tricky platforming games, this is deadly. This can be corrected most of the time by turning the controller off, applying a slight bit of pressure to nudge the stick in the problematic direction, and then turning it back on again. But this should not be happening. Second, the grip position is just a bit too vertical (parallel), and it makes my hands cramp after a while. Compare this to the PDP Fight Pad controllers for WIi (now discontinued), and the PDP Fight Pad is far more comfortable for extended gaming.I never had the chance to use an original Wavebird controller, but I am using this WaveDash reproduction now and find it works very well. I saw some reviews mentioning the stick sensitivity felt off, but I haven't noticed any lag or control problems for general gaming. (Then again, maybe I am not playing the same games, so it's possible there might be problems on games that really need different levels of how far the stick is pushed.) The tactile feel of the sticks is good if perhaps a little heavy. This controller allows you to play Gamecube games on a Wii. I see beat up original Wavebirds with missing parts selling for much more than this brand new controller, and it seems a bit odd. I think this controller is worth a look.

Gamecube/ Wii wireless
I been using this to play on my Wii mostly GameCube games but I tried some Wii games that support it, it works good I have not noticed delay, but I am not using it for competitive smash. It connects pretty easy, if you don’t use it for 5 mins it will auto shut off sometimes it reconnects just pushing the power on/off, sometimes not so you have to reconnect the transmitter to the Wii port by pulling it in and out. I have been using wired or the Classic Controller before and I prefer this for ease of use wireless, the controller is fairly accurate to original GameCube but it’s a 3rd party controller those are never exactly the same it’s not a wavebird, but those in good condition are $70-100 or more. So for $20 it’s great way back to the Wii, I do wish got something in the middle like $35-45 and improved design or had both options.

You get what you pay for which isn't bad
So the controller all together is good for the price. Though, the first day I plugged it in and unplugged it, the wires came out and were exposed but I easily put it back to together and try not to take it out of the game system. The controller automatically shuts off in about 2-5 mins if you are not using it which is great because I get distracted and leave my games on, so that saves alot of battery life. The controllers are a little stiff but that always happens with remake controllers for old systems. I'm playing legend of zelda twilight princess and the controller stiffness makes it hard to aim.

Look and functionality of the GameCube Wireless Controller
I've gotten this controller because it's wireless and it's more efficient to use anywhere within the console's presence. I've had the WaveBird Gamecube controller back somewhere in 2007 and I had for a short amount of time because I didn't know how the thing works only to notice that you need batteries. The controller I have now is in good condition, the problem really is the Control Stick. The Control Stick is stiff and not loose which makes the control movement more painful and more aggravating to use. The buttons are perfect, the other problem I had is vibration when you turn it on when playing a game. The vibration of the controller feels like it doesn't want to react to the game's effects. That's my thoughts about the controller.

Good
Gameplay is fine. Playing instruments not so much. Wind Waker is impossible with the long songs. Need to check OoT.

It didn't come with the wireless receiver
I bought it Used but the description said the box was damaged, but the controller was in good condition. It didn't say anything about missing pieces and the box was not damaged in a way that pieces could fall out and it wasn't in the bag the box was shipped in. It was supposed to be a gift for my mom:(

Good option, but it’s exactly like the original Nintendo controllers.
It’s a good quality controller. However, the joystick does not appear to be as smooth or steady as the original Nintendo controllers.

Good
Great value for what we got. These are 3rd party quality but work for what we need!
