How do I care for my SafeRest protection products?

A little care keeps them lasting for years. Wash before first use, then machine wash cold to hot with regular detergent. Skip bleach, dry cleaning, ironing, and high heat—they can damage the waterproof lining. Tumble dry low with sheets or towels.

What's the difference between a mattress protector and a mattress encasement?

Protectors are more affordable and easier to wash, but they don’t fully seal against bed bugs. Encasements zip around the entire mattress for complete protection. Both cost far less than replacing a mattress.

What mattress depth does the protector fit?

It depends on the size. Twin, Twin XL, and Full fit mattresses up to 14 inches deep, while Queen, King, and Cal King fit up to 18 inches.

Why are there brown burn marks on my protector after drying?

Those marks almost always mean the protector was dried on high heat or got caught against the dryer's heating element, which unfortunately ruins it. Always tumble dry on low.

Which side of the protector faces up?

The soft cotton terry side goes up, and the woven waterproof liner sits face-down against your mattress.

SafeRest ジャカードマットレスプロテクターツインXL Review: One of those things every bed should have - This fits the mattress well and does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is waterproof but still comfortable and not noisy like some protectors can be. Easy to put on and it stays in place. Good peace of mind especially if you have kids or pets. Review: College boy - Fits great and a lot better than just the blue plan mattress. Easy to put on and a good fitted

A wonderful cloud to sleep on.

I love my new mattress. No pressure points, just a soft comfortable bed that supports you as you drift off to sleep. I have no complaints only praise. Best bed I have ever slept on.

Good barrier, not too hot

This is a nice protective cover. Doesn't make sleepers too hot; I do use it under a cotton mattress pad though. Washed fine.
