Bought this toy as a stocking stuffer for one of my sons (10 years old) after reading the positive reviews. When my son saw it, he had no idea that it would be a "cool" toy and candidly, I was also wondering if all those reviewers knew what they were talking about because the toy is pretty basic. I started to second guess my purchase. Then...the day after Christmas...my son and I took it to the park along with a new football. After throwing the football and the fling sock for a few minutes, my son said "forget the football, this fling sock is a blast, let's keep throwing it!!" I couldn't agree more...it is so much fun! And my 6 year old son also loves it too because it doesn't take much skill to throw yet it's easy to catch. I highly recommend this for adults and kids; great small toy to throw at the park, beach, etc and unlike many toys, this won't damage windows or cars!

This sock exceeded our expectations. Not only does it fling farther than I am capable of running, it also comes at you like a freight train. Be prepared for the occasional black eye as well as more exercise than you thought you signed up for when you agreed to go play "catch". This sock is probably the most fun I've ever had with a sock. Socks generally stink but this one had a very pleasant plastic bean and ribbon smell. I enjoyed the colors and the variation from product to product.I do not recommend playing with this product at night as it impossible to see it before it smacks you in the face or gets lost; the latter which happened to ours.I'm happy to say that we enjoyed this product so much that we ordered another one.

I like this product. Its alot of fun. My issue with it is build quality. I've bought two now and both have opened up at the seam where the sock connects to the pouch. When this happens the beanbag inside comes out. Luckily my wife is handy with the sewing machine and can fix it fairly easily but be warned if this would be a challenge for you. I still think the product is worth it if you can reinforce that seam yourself. Stay away from trees! that is how I ultimately lost the first one.

I used to have one of these as a kid and I decided buying one for my kid sister for Christmas was a good idea. Turns out I was very right. It is just as fun as I remember and we had a blast playing with this for hours and hours. It is especially great because even kids can really throw this thing very far without having to try to hard to do so. I would say it's absolutely worth a shot.

This is seriously one of the best toys. I have one and this will be the second one I am buying for my dad. (got it stuck in a tree). My kids also love it. It's easy to use and throw and with just one swing you can make it sail. My children had a slight problem in the past years due to their height (short for their age). It does ok in the water and at parks. Beware of trees - It will wrap a limb.

I sent this to my grandson as one of his birthday presents. My son said he and my grandson played with it for 'hours' but then the tail of the sock ripped. He needs someone to sew it, as he said it is basically a beanbag in a sock. ...hmmmm...is it so hard to make the fabric durable?? The kid is only 9!! Well, anyway, I guess they liked it while it lasted.

It was really great and fun...until it became acquainted with the house roof. If you put any kind of power behind the throw, it really goes, which is easy enough for an adult to realized, but really hard for my boy to comprehend. Hence us losing it to the roof gods after about 20 minutes of playing.

I love this thing! I've bought a few of these now as gifts for friends' children. It's easy to thow a long way and easy to catch too.
