They were used to make my truffula tree cupcake toppers. Very pretty and held up in the frosting.

For those who are eco minded and have concerns over the environment, these straws are worth the money. I understand that they are not as strudy and pliable, but for drinking they work really well. They will begin to get softer if they remain in a drink for an unreasonalbe amount of time, but if the person drinks their drink in a shorter time span and doesn't need to bend, they are great. No guilt when finished with the straw is an advantage, too.

I love paper straws. It has nothing to do with the environment. I am not a fan of plastic. I only have plastic in my storage Lock N Lock containers. These are great sizes and colors. The price was good I would rebuy it.
