Junk - Not as advertised
Bought this specifically because it was supposed to be 316. 316 has a higher corrosion resistance. Which is useful for hardware that is in the elements and above a chlorinated pool. The turnbuckle is stamped with 304. The snap hook has corrosion 2 days after installation. The Phillips head screws are garbage and stripped out. (Partially my fault for not having the exact bit) will be replacing with hex lag bolts. Not happy with this purchase. The turnbuckles do seem strong and we’re able to tension the sail easily.

Just fine
Poly coated?? Um. When I pull the wire through my fingers I expect metal shavings. This is the only negative. When I think polycoated I think safe for me to rub. Nope.

Nice made stainless steel cable.
As advertised a well made stainless steel cables. I use them for all my triangle sun shade in the front and the back of the house total 4 sets. So far so good, we just had a gust wind of 25 mph yesterday and these cables holds just fine without any issues. Highly recommended!

Good for Light-Duty Shade Sails
I recently purchased Colour Tree's Super Ring Shade Sail for my backyard use. This hardware set was recommended by amazon to be used with my sail, I figured I mind as well grab these also.Problem is the hook end's of the turnbuckle were too small to fit around the reinforced end of this particular sail.Had to return to get a bigger turnbuckle to accommodate.

Doesn't work, parts don't fit
The winches in this kit come with a metal hook that is meant to go through two holes in the winch, and this holds the cable onto the winch when it turns. This was demonstrated by a picture on the product page. However, the hooks do not actually fit into the winch. It appears that one part or the other (probably the winch) was swapped from the original at some point. So this product cannot be assembled, and it is unusable.

Strong
Strong cables although they do seem pretty thin. Only time will tell if they hold up. I used them for a shade sail so I can't imagine that they'll bust under the slight tension. I do wish they provided clamps in case you didn't need the full length, but it's not a big deal.

Good quality.
You do need extra tools to make the wires the exact length for your situation. But they give you wires long enough to customize. Very durable. We have really strong winds here in Texas and ours hasn’t had any issues after a month and a half. Very pleased.

Multi applications for different connections.
Great kit for the shade sail. If you buy this at say home depot it well end up costing more. Uncoated straight cable is about 36 cents a foot. It also provides multiple ways to connect, which ever might be suited to a particular application.

Cable snapped after one week
After using this for less than a week, one of the cables snapped, causing the sail that it was holding to break free and crack my window. Very unhappy! I bought this same product before and never had an issue (they are all still working perfectly after a year of use).
