Great Value: Work as expected: Could these batteries be better than some other aftermarket batteries?
Received two DSTE 2X LP-E6 batteries and put both in charger; one was fully charged upon receipt, one not charged (not an issue, just an observation). Tried both batteries in my 7D MKII. Both work as intended, at least so far. I have several other non-Canon batteries and when they're inserted into the 7D MKII a message is displayed essentially saying: 'Communication with Canon LP-E6 / LP-E6N battery is irregular, Do you wish to continue?' FWIW: Did not receive such message on the camera when these batteries were inserted. So are these batteries better because that message about irregular communication is not displayed? Don't know about that, I do know I'd rather not see such message after inserting a battery. Although I suppose an argument could be made that at a minimum, any battery information communicated via the camera is better than no information being communicated. The batteries are being recognized by the 7D MKII (as LP-E6N batteries) to the point of being able to provide battery performance, battery charge, etc., as well as allowing the registration of batteries in the camera if so desired. Again, not an issue, just an observation.Tremendous value when considering the stated/claimed capacity is 2,600 mAh vs the factory Canon battery which has a claimed capacity of 1,865 mAh; a 140% increase for a price point of $9.00 per battery. In a word - unbelievable.Should one or both batteries fail to live up to expectations, or other problems arise, this review will be updated.

Good Batteries, Great Value!
Edit October 2017: Still going strong at almost a year, have not let me down in any regard. Added this edit as I am buying couple more!!So far so good! I would say they were over 50% charged when I got them so they charged right up to 100% fairly quick and show up all good in my 6D just as my genuine Canon batteries. It can be time consuming and tedious to test an compare batteries so I will do my best to guesstimate over time and only use these batteries same as my others in matched pairs in my battery grip, chances are they are from the same batch. So time will be the deciding factor for these batteries I think, for now they appear to be a good value. Most of these camera batteries are made in a few Chinese factories same as genuine Canon batteries so I am optimistic!

Defective batteries won't take a charge
These batteries won't charge on my Canon charger, even though the original battery still does. When I connect them, they appear to start charging but within a few minutes go to constant-flashing amber light. Canon instructions say disconnect and reconnect a few times should fix this, but it does not with these batteries. Returned.

Perfect Extra Batteries for Canon 80D
These batteries work just fine for my Canon 80D, they feel very sturdy just as the Canon battery that came with my camera. I have given both of them 3 charges so far since buying them and the only thing keeping me from giving them five stars was that one of the batteries seems to lose power slightly faster then the other, but for the price I can afford to have a bunch with me in case they die.

These same batteries purchased in 2014 and 2017 out perform newer Canon versions
These same batteries purchased in 2014 and 2017 have out performed newer Canon versions, period! I have a few Canon LP-E6's purchased with 70D, 80D and 90D camera bodies in recent years, but these DSTE batteries have lasted longer than those. I have just purchased another pair to replace the Canon versions that are not recharging as they should. For reference, I'm a professional travel photographer/guide and I don't promote a product without good cause.

Good backup batteries
These don't hold a charge for nearly as long as my Canon battery but they're good as backups. Using a Canon 7D.

This battery is compatible with the Canon EOS 80D
I spent a lot time researching the most compatible batteries for my new Canon EOS 80D camera and it appears that I made the right decision. I had read a lot issues existed for after-market batteries and the factory battery from Canon runs between $65-69. I am happy to say that both batteries are recognized by the Canon battery charger as well as the Canon 80D so there were no compatibility issues with these and when purchased in the two-pack for $18.49 come out to only $9.25 each. Quite a savings from the factory price of $65 for just one battery.I wanted to post this first review for those that might be looking for a safe back-up or replacement battery for the Canon 80D that came out earlier this year (2016), The have a greater capacity than the factory battery too. It will take me a while to test them out regarding battery life and I will post an additional update in coming months after I have more time to use them in regular use.

Great Batteries
I've been using DTSE batteries for a while now, from 1D batteries to Rebel batteries, they're always reliable and never fail.To say the least I would always buy these before a canon genuine because they perform the same, and cost way less.

Exactly what I needed
No issues at all with these batteries. They hold a charge for a long time and work like the original battery that came with the camera.
