Korean Army Biscuits hardtack 155G x 1 추억의 건빵

Very light and crispy texture. The flavor is slightly sweet. To me it tastes vaguely like the animal crackers in the little red box. A little dry but still a great trail snack. Comes with some crystalized sugar that is also pleasant. All of the writing is in Korean so you may need a translator app to cheek on expiry dates.

This bag contains bite sized crispy little biscuits. There is no way they would survive a hike in a backpack. The seem like they would be a nice snack with tea. The taste is pleasant if fairly bland. Hopefully the implies not too much sugar or salt to be thirst inducing.

I’m not a picky eater, but these were not very good. Very odd, stale, graham cracker taste. Very sweet. Not like a saltine. I guess after a week in the field you would be chowing down on them, but otherwise, bleh.

Basic small crackers, not a lot of flavor but glad I tried them.. there is a small pack of sugar candy inside as well. Text on it is in Korean, so it took me a couple days to have someone verify that it was candy and not a dehumidifier package.

For a survival ration, this tastes pretty good

When I read the first review of the product I thought they would be like hardtack. Before I opened the package I could feel the cookies shifting around and thought they had been destroyed through bad packing. What I found instead when I opened them were little 1” by 1/2” by 1/4” cookies. The closest thing that I could name for comparison is animal crackers although these were slightly harder and darker from baking. Since I can’t read Korean I couldn’t tell whether they are gluten free or not. In theory, they may have been made using rice flour. I think in the future I might just bring a box of animal crackers for my survival rations😀
