Great winch bumper, added the optional grill protection. Easy to install, looks great recessed winch mount, lots of additional accessories available for this bumper.

This bumper looks great! Its extremely sturdy and the install didn't require any drilling or modifications to my 2008 Rubicon, with the exception to adding on a place for a front license plate. And better yet, it didn't require any modification to install the Smittybilt XRC 9500lbs winch.But I do have 2 issues with the bumper itself. 1 is that there is no place for a front license plate. The state I live in requires a front and rear plate, so I had to drill two small holes over the "Smittybilt" logo plate and installed it there. Not a big deal, but I prefer buying things that are ready to go right out of the box. My second issue is that the design of the bumper made it so that there is a large collection tray at the bottom of the bumper for various debris and no way for it to easily be cleaned out. I can see this being a real pain after playing in the mud and having scoop of all of the crap this tray collects. Good news though, it made a great catch for my tools when I was installing the winch.Although I rated the bumper for 4 stars, the instructions were a definite 0. The instructions start you out unnecessarily drilling 1/2 holes. Past that, the instructions were a challenge to piece together from what each model requires and to top it off all of the reference pictures were blurry. I found it much easier to go to YouTube and get the instructions on there. It made the install so much easier!

Recieved in a lot of packaging which is always good to see. Opened and had all hardware and had threaded holes pregreased for install. Install was a breeze. Great strong and durable product from the feel and weight of it. Would highly recommend.

Well made. Looks great. Very quick shipping. Installation is not as difficult as some make it seem. Only 8 bolts to attach it to frame.. I will agree, however, that the directions are absolutely worthless. Took maybe an hour at most to get it on and most of that was spent trying to figure out where the correct hardware went.

This is one well built Bumper!!! It took a 40 mph hit like a champ, it really saved my jeep. I would glad buy it again :)The other SUV didn't make it so well....

The picture of the Jeep in the description highlights the wrong product. It is correct when browsing but the image with the actual wrangler is wrong

This will be a overall review of the bumper(76825) as well as the Full end plates (76828) and Bull bar (76829).I purchased this bumper and accessories for my wife's 2013 Jeep Wrangler. All parts arrived quickly and were packaged well.Just for reference I am not a mechanic but have been working on cars/trucks for over 30 years and have installed many lift kits, aftermarket accessories etc.As I began to install I had issues with the directions not being very clear (and the print out was hard to see). It does require you to drill out 2 holes in the frame to 1/2". However the holes in mine were already 1/2" so that was confusing. I did end up filing out the hole later on trying to align everything.The first issue I ran into was installing the bull bar. It came with 8 bolts to attach it to the main bumper. However, on my bumper there were only 2 captive nuts on each side? Confused I called Smittybuilt tech support. After explaining the issue we came to the conclusion that 4 of the captive nuts had not been installed(welded on) at the factory. I had the choice of packaging up the big bumper and returning it or go down to the hardware store and purchase nuts. Given that I had already removed the old bumper and hassle of mailing it back I went and bought nuts.Next I tried to install the end plates and bumper to the vehicle. I could get the nuts on the inside mounting position started but not the bolts on the outside that went through the end plates. I double checked the bolts and they were the correct length per the instructions. Frustrated I eventually removed the bumper and put the original back on until I had more time to evaluate it.A few days later I mocked it up on the garage floor again and tried to figure out the problem. I came to the conclusion that the supplied bolts were too short and a few holes did not line up correctly. I went to the hardware store and bought longer bolts and opened up a couple of the holes so they aligned better.I was eventually able to get it installed but very disappointed with the fit and quality control at the factory that allowed it to ship with captive bolts missing. At this price point I expected better.Another thing, there is a mix of metric and US hardware so make sure you have the correct wrench/socket. It doesn't always match what the instructions say it is.

Bought this full bumper and additions. Added up to over 1000$, I have had it since September and it's already rusted as sh*t, such a waste very disappointed.
