Beautiful, balanced and sharp - I love knives and am very happy with this one. It has a wonderful balance and is a beautiful blade. Time will tell how it holds an edge but so far so very good!

Coming from using Russel Hobbs knifes and basic kitchen sets, this knife was a huge upgrade I can't believe how easy it is to chop onions and chicken now. I'm a novice home cook but for me the knife is perfect! Looks really cool too.

I have big hands so the handle is a tad on the slim side for me but ideal for average hands. The weight is perfect and WOW the blade is sharp! First time the wife uses it and chop!! Tip of finger in the stew. I think it’s great value for the product. Thinking of getting the set now

I haven't had a sharp knife before and it really is a joy to use. I had to buy a whetstone to sharpen it with after a couple of weeks. Then it was sharp enough to cut through pig skin. It's made from carbon steel, wrapped in Damascus steel. Presumably this is for decorative purposes. I'm sure it is genuine Damascus-type steel, but the blade itself is carbon steel. I find it very comfortable and the weight feels right. It's made in China. I don't have a problem with that. I'm very pleased indeed to have such a sharp knife. It slices through most veg like they're made of butter and I can finally cut sushi, as it's that good.

I am so impressed with this set that I bought a 2nd one as a gift for my daughter who is in Australia. Cuts through steak like melted butter.

Sehr aggressiver Schliff, erinnert eher an einen Sägeschliff. Lässt sich etwas schwerer durch ein Brot ziehen, schneidet dafür aber auch schneller. Sie Klinge ist sehr sehr scharf und macht einen guten Eindruck, der Lamellendamast ist sauber ausgeführt. Es ist etwas schwerer, da der Griff fast komplett aus Stahl gefertigt ist. Habe es als Geschenk gekauft, aber vorher auch ausprobiert. Ich kenne mich gut mit Messern aus und muss sagen: Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut, auch meine Schwester ist sehr zufrieden.

First, this is beautifully packaged. Second, this is both an aesthetically pleasing and very sharp knife (seriously, I've already got a small cut from how sharp it is haha).I'm no knife expert, but this is a really nice multipurpose knife around the kitchen for those beginning chefs. Given the price point, you get a great deal with this simply aesthetic, sturdy, and sharp knife. It's got enough weight when you hold it, and cuts cleanly through meat. Honestly, love this product!
