I really dislike wearing mascara, I have a habit of rubbing my eyes and I find most mascaras irritable, but this mascara has honestly surprised me. It’s not irritated my eyes at all and actually lengthens my lashes and looks fab. So impressed

Chosen because its brown (not always easy to get at my local shops) and gets good reviews for its lengthening effect. This is a drier formula than the black and green bottle version and doesn't seem to last as long. Overall, though, for the price, its a decent mascara.

Love this mascara . My daughter bought this and I was so impressed with how long her eyelashes looked. I’ve always had issues with mascara smushing below my eyes but this one is great

Smudges and crumbles
Was looking forward to trying this mascara. Applies well, lovely colour and doesn't irritate my eyes. Marked down due to smudging after little wear time, and it crumbles. Not a good-wearing mascara for me so won't buy again. I don't recommend.

Cheap price but cheap quality
Unfortunately one of the worst mascaras I’ve used. Even at the cheap price it’s at, it is not worth the money. It looks lovely when you put it on but within 30 mins of application it was super flaky and gradually flaked off my eyes all day. As a result I have a stye on my eye.

Mai più senza
Ho provato il mascara black brown di Essence e mi ha sorpresa tantissimo. Il colore marrone scuro è perfetto per un effetto più naturale rispetto al classico nero: definisce bene le ciglia senza indurire lo sguardo. Lo uso soprattutto di giorno perché dona volume e lunghezza in modo delicato, ideale anche con trucco leggero o “no makeup makeup”. Lo scovolino separa bene le ciglia e non crea grumi, mentre la tenuta è ottima per diverse ore senza sbavature. Rapporto qualità/prezzo davvero eccellente: costa poco ma rende come prodotti molto più costosi. Consigliato a chi vuole ciglia definite ma dall’effetto morbido e naturale.
