Functional and beautiful

It’s kind of flimsy and not super sturdy. But it doesn’t even serve its purpose title, “hydroponic.” it doesn’t even come with any kind of pump, other than that it’s a decent incomplete product. I had to buy water pumps for each bin so 3 in total. I might as well have bought one of the more expensive ones it probably came with pumps.

My honest and professional review: As someone with experience using both small home hydroponic systems and larger professional ones like Rise Garden Family, AeroGarden Farm 24, and even custom DIY bucket systems, I can confidently say this product is not functional in its current design. First problem: The white plastic containers let in light pass . Anyone with basic hydroponic knowledge knows that water + nutrients + light = algae growth. Algae will destroy your plants' roots. To fix this, the containers should either be made of thicker, non-transparent whith plastic (not thin semitransprant like this) or switched to food-grade black plastic. Second issue: The fabric cover that holds the grow baskets is very thin and poor quality but more importhantly and worse, as you can see in the pictures, it doesn't fully cover the top — light enters from the sides. This again leads to algae/ fungus growth and destroy the plants. Third: The unit is advertised as supporting 20 plants, but in reality, you can’t grow more than 5–6 healthy plants per level but even with 5 plant per level ,roots need to get oxygen ,this could achive with a water pump like most of home hydroponics or you can add a separate air pump with air stone ,unit does not have water pump but you can not add neither water nor air pump , why? The container top is made of fabric , will became constantly wet — which leads to mold. A better design would be a fitted plastic lid instead of fabric, one that fully blocks light and moisture. Bottom line: It's a nice idea and the price is fair, but it’s clear that the person who designed this has no basic knowledge of how hydroponics works. Sadly, in its current form, this unit is not usable at all. I’m returning it and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone serious about growing plants.

All things considered I’m happy with this item. I believe it’s intended to be used for cuttings or seed starting but I’ve got other ideas. I’m planning to use the lowest shelf for a reservoir and the second and third as ebb and flow flood trays which I’m confident will work out. Overall I’m empress with the bang for buck value.

These growing stands are affordable & great for small spaces. I have three stands and they’re able to hold my tomato, basil and jalapeño plants. The wheels definitely make water changes a breeze.

Poor engineering for a hydroponic plant setup. The cloth cover for the trays is not ideal and simply just gets in the way. The light system has three settings but does not work as intended. The timer is suppose to turn on the lights periodically but never does it, meaning you have to manually do it on your own. Also the tubs do not have any type of water pump which is essential for providing hydroponic plants with oxygen and flow of nutrients. Would not recommend this product. There are many better options for this price point.

Took a lot longer to build screws fit every part except for one piece to wear one screw was totally not right had to improvise, but got it together. Am I impressed by this by far not why the tubs are clear you’re gonna get it when you use the nutrient rich water. It’s going to Aldi when the light hits that percent all right I don’t know who didn’t know this two needs a water pump. Got a circulate the water and three you gotta aerate it too so you’re gonna need an air pump I would suggest painting the painting the tubs black too but ideally, it’s a pretty good product once I get these once I get these modifications in it’s gonna work. I’m sure of it.

As a hydroponic gardener, I’m thrilled with this compact growing set. It’s an ideal starting point for expanding your larger plants. The lights are sufficient, and the assembly process is straightforward. Considering its excellent value, I highly recommend it.
