These are worth the investment if you have limited space. Pros - it's easy to swap the pin to adjust the weight - they take up a very small footprint and you can use them for a range of exercises - they seem to be well made and of high quality Cons - they can be a little clunkier than dumbells, have a wider profile for the lower weights than fixed dumbells, and shift a little bit when lifting them - you have to be a bit on the gentler side with them when you set them down, as opposed to regular fixed dumbells (I don't chuck my weights down after a set so it's not a worry for me, but can be if you're used to tossing your dumbells) - sport 24 don't seem to have any attachments available so you may need to either buy regular weights/bars if you advance or a set of pros and their attachments later on

I have a full set of dumbbells in my detached garage gym. But, I don't always get out there and my weight lifting has suffered because of it. I looked at a lot of sets of adjustable dumbbells before deciding on these. Then, I remembered that the gym in college had PowerBlocks and that I used them then. That was many years ago, but the fact that they're still around tells you all you need to know. These are high-quality, good-looking, easily adjustable dumbbells. The color coding makes it easy to adjust to the correct weight for each exercise and there's also color-coded numbers on the top of the weights so you can easily match it with the color on the sides. The adjustability makes it easy for my wife and I to both use. I was looking for an option that didn't take up a lot of space in the bedroom and these fit the bill. They sit flat, so I don't have to worry about them rolling off the bottom shelf where I keep them. I do wish they came with some sort of small stand or pad to protect the surface they rest on. I got some rubber workout that I put them on on the shelf and on the floor so that I don't accidentally scratch either. Lastly, BE CAREFUL when you adjust the weights. Be sure that they plastic fork-type piece clicks into place on each weight. This will ensure that they are locked and ready to use. If you don't align it perfectly, it can still slide into another weight setting and then weight won't be secure. My worst fear is that I don't do that and the weight drops onto my foot. :) Remember: "Click" means secure. No click? Double-check to be safe. All that said, I'm really happy with these dumbbells. They are pricey, but still a great value and I know they will last long--probably longer than I will. :) If you're on the fence, just know that these will serve you well due to their adjustability, high-quality, and durability.

I used to spend a lot of time changing the weights to use, as I had those where you have to remove some pieces. With this it’s a pleasure to decrease/increase the weight as needed.
