I'm not happy with Tune Link products
I would love to love their products, because they are great ideas But executed poorly. I have had mixed feelings about this Home version, I have a couple of their Auto Tunelinks. The one thing that is really annoying is that when you try to pair it my iphone cant find it. That should never happen, Or once every few months would be acceptable. I have a belkin bluetooth receiver at work and when you press pair - boom - it's paired every time, no trouble shooting, restarting, annoying. Also I paired it with my wife's laptop and it now always auto pairs with it, even when you click disconnect it will auto pair 1 minute later. As for the remote control features, My Sony receiver doesn't work, so I am back to having 3 remotes, tired of fiddlingTunelink - fix your stuff and I would love to review again

Good solution for quality systems that pre-date bluetooth
However, as pointed out by another reviewer, there is no off switch. When you walk into range and you are not playing music from you phone, it will still connect and drain your battery.Great solution if you just want to play and control music from your phone, but it does not work with a computer.

box says android
The item works great on my wifes I phone and it connects to my S3.It tries its best to connect to my laptop but there arent any drivers so it gets chopped. The device gets stuck updating firmware via blue tooth on iphone app only does not have android app. That being said has 3.5mm jack and fiber out! I entertained guests from the dining room while playing cards over drinks using my S3 and pandora. Sound quality from phones and pads is amazing!5 stars when drivers catch up.

Stopped working after 8 months.
It started off good. All working and stuff. But once I was using it reguralry, it stopped working after 8 months. The green light is on always. No way I am able to reset and connect it back to my iOS devices. Waste of money.Update - I have contacted the support and they asked a few questions and some suggestions. I responded back and now no response. I have requested for an exchange, since its under a year old. waiting for response.

Best universal remote setup for iOS out there!
I really like the New Potato Tech products as I own the TuneLink Auto as well and the Home continues to impress me. The setup was a bit tricky, but once I got used to programming the app and added an IR extender the system worked flawlessly. Of particular usefulness is the learning command which allows you to program keys with the IR codes directly received from the original remotes. This allowed me to program in the Apple TV remote since the iPod dock remote default in the app didn't work. The activies (macros/key combos) work really well too and are very easy to program. The external IR emitter port was a key feature for me because I wanted to tuck this away inside my home entertainment cabinet alongside the various A/V boxes I have. The built in emitter array couldn't reach my TV's IR receiver from that position, but I was able to (discretely) run an extended IR emitter to the TV from the TuneLink base. Personally I think it would be nice if they bundled a 4-6 emitter cable along with the product (SlingBoxes come with one), but I can understand why it's not included. I did try the Omni directional IR LED emitter array by itself and was surprised that the IR reached all the boxes inside the cabinet. I could see this sufficing for many people especially if you don't tuck it away in a cabinet like I did.In case you're looking for an extended IR emitter check out the Next Generation Infrared Remote Control Extender Emitter. They have 3 and 6 emitter cables which you can easily peel into various strands to route from the TuneLink Home to the various IR controlled boxes.

Tune link home
Doesn't connect. Doesn't hold the blue tooth link and on top of that the music quality isn't good. It took a long time to get a hold of the Customer service department. On top of that when I did get a hold of them it was like why are your returning out product.

False Advertising!!! - Android users beware!!!
I bought this item because all over their website it states that there is an Android app for it.Well there isn't. I bought this for the universal remote more than anything else.Very VERY disappointed!!!!

Good connection
It performs as advertised. However it takes some tweaking of the setting to get it to perform the way you want it to. The help file is missing some important tips. I had to send 2 emails to get answers, but they were replied promptly and clarified my issues. As far as range, if you go through some walls the range is limited. Best I got in my yard with my ipad was about 45' from receiver. It is very convenient and sound is as good as wired.

Purtroppo il software necessario all'utilizzo come telecomando è davvero molto carente.
