Knew Concepts3” Mk.III Fret Saw With Lever Tension And Swivel Blade Clamps

I tried using an old coping saw the other day, and it was awful. I can't use my scroll saw for what i'm working on, so I searched around and came across the Knew Concepts saws. I think it's wrong that swiveling the blade is an upgrade, but figured the feature was a necessity. All I can say is WOW! This saw is amazing. It's extremely light weight, making it easier to control. It cuts beautifully with the blade that came with it, and one of the Olson spiral blades I had on hand worked quite well too. It's not the fastest saw on the planet, but that's not what you want with the precision this allows. I almost gave it 4 stars simply because of the obscene price, but hey it's a great tool.

This is 10x better than my copping saw for dovetails.

I agree with all the reviewers who commented on how well made the tool is. But I gave it 3 stars as I was disappointed in how slow it was in cutting 3/4 inch white oak dovetails and pins. I admit that white oak is a hard wood, but I was disappointed when I found it was faster if I went back to the rubber mallet and chisel.

I love it. Great fret saw for dove tails and other work. I would buy this again if I lost mine.
