Among the best frying pans I've had
The granite layer on this set is one of the best non-stick surfaces I've dealt with and is indeed scratch resistant. I tried another brand with a similar coating but it didn't work well. Tuscany pans have a thick enough bottom to evenly distrubute heat on my standard spiral electric range. The heat distribution is similar to my cast iron pans. This is my seconds set of Henckel's Tuscany. Unfortunately, the first one was ruined over time in my dishwasher. It was too late when I realized that the cause of that was the dishwasher pods I was using, specifically Cascade Platinum Plus. Within about a year after I started using them, the pods eroded the aluminum where the handle connects to the pan and the bottoms of my pans. Another misfortune was that I just threw them away and only later realized that Henkel could have covered that with their warranty. Since the pods damaged not only my Tuscany pans, I stopped using those pods and switched to Finish Quantum - no issues observed anymore with no visible change in the quality of washing.I was since searching for a replacement of my old set and tried multiple different sets, including another one by Henkel. What was commonly off was the shape - I adore the angle of the sides in this set. There is one similar shaped pan by Le Crousette but it is way more expensive and it has teflon coating which I prefer less. Happy that one seller brought Tuscaby back to Amazon. Bought it from "Lucky 13 Trading". It arrived not in the original box, however not used, so all is good. I bought the first set at Costco a little cheaper, but they don't sell it anymore

So far so good
I like this pan but it depends on how well it does over time. I use this pan exclusively to cook (primarily) eggs.I have noticed that the handle comes loose but I was able to correct that with a screwdriver. The handle also gets hot when cooking but you can still use it. The other thing I noticed is that the top of the handle gets cooking stains on it that I can't remove without a scrub pad.It looks like this will do well but time will tell.

They really are no stick!
House we were renting had these skillets! Used them and really like them. Nice weight, really easy to clean and handle did not heat up.Sure I will buy a bigger one!

Non stick!
We have gone through many so called "non stick" pans but after a month of use, these pans work just as well as they did the day we got them. Worth the money if they keep on going like they are!!

Very good pans
Liked that the pans are perfect for most things we do. However, I've learned the hard way that ceramic pans do not tolerate high temps ( i.e. 300 and over), so when it comes to searing meats, I use other pans.
