I love my velvet red journal. I write my inner most thoughts with the security of the lock. Love it and the quality!~

Journal looks good. Paper is good quality. Haven't had any problems with the lock. However, the down side is that it does not come with instructions to set the lock. You can look at the description where you order and it will tell you there, so there is a way to find it.

My son was very excited to use his new journal and we thought it was relatively easy to set the initial passcode. However, after 2 days the lock mechanism got jammed and we can no longer open the diary without having to break the lock open. We have reached out to try and get a replacement but have had no luck getting contact with anyone. It was perfect for what we needed and was a great price so it’s upsetting that one of the main features is faulty.

It is a nice little journal. My only problem is the privacy issue. If someone wanted to read it they can pull on the sides and see almost everything.

I purchased this journal and everything was great until I realized some pages were upside down and some were right side up. I hope I can fine a refill for it. Bc the leather part and lock is awesome

I can not open the journal

I'll admit I was skeptical about purchasing anything with a lock on it. I thought it wouldn't be very secure. I was surprised to recieve this journal in great condition. I love how simple it is to personalize the lock and how secure it is. Worth every penny.
