♦️These Are Not Scrapbook Quality. Flimsy & Cheap.♦️
This one-hole punch in tiny, measuring in at just 1 1/2 inches. See my photo of punch against tape measure for scale. This is not a little scrapbook quality punch. The casing is made entirely of low-quality thin, transparent plastic and the stainless steel pieces are very thin and low-quality as well. This is a Dollar Store product all the way, having seen it in person now, I would expect to find it in a two-pack had I purchased it there. I was hoping for a little scrapbook quality punch, given that I purchased it as an add-on, which usually are a decent quality product that reflects savings for having grouped it with an existing, qualifying order. Baumgartens Mini Hole Punch, Assorted Colors (BAU20270) I ordered two, one was clear and one was a transparent royal blue. This will break easily if jumbled around in a binder pouch or backpack.🔶 This states it will punch through 5 pieces of paper, and it will. It will NOT punch through a standard weight recipe card, which is what I purchased it for. The cheap thin index cards, it will punch through those one at a time.♦️ BOTH PLASTIC CASING AND STAINLESS STEEL PARTS ARE CHEAP QUALITY - Think Dollar Store, Not scrapbook quality.♦️ TRAY THAT CATCHES PUNCHED PAPER FALLS OFF - A flimsy, soft, plastic tray attaches to the bottom of the punch. It is loose and falls off. It holds the punched out dots, does't hold many, and when it comes off they fall out.♦️ LITTLE CLEARANCE BETWEEN PUNCH & BASE - Clearance is minimal between punch and base. Although it will punch through 5 sheets of paper at once, it is difficult to feed 5 pages between the punch itself and the base. Scrapes across paper.🌐 OVERALL - This isn't going to hold up over long term, regular use. If you need it for now and then, this may work out for you. About the only thing I can think of that these would be ideal for is if you have a birthday party craft project where each child needs a punch of their own, to save time, and you send it home with each child in their favor bag afterwards. Other than that, this isn't a practical punch for repetitive use. If you have any questions leave them in the comments and I will be happy to answer.

Efficient and Convenient, yet Colorless
I just wanted to add on a few specific details that would've been helpful to know up front. First of all, I am happy overall with the purchase - it fulfills exactly the need I was looking for: cute, single hole punch that's convenient and lightweight. There were a few minor surprises and disappointments though.Biggest disappointment was that the "color" I received was clear. How is this a color? From the product images shown, I assumed I'd get a color, ANY color. But it was a slight disappointment to just get "clear". Yes I know this is not a major point, but from a solely emotional standpoint, I was disappointed. I'm a huge sucker for packaging, in both form and function, and I was looking forward to the tiny amount of joy derived from more color in my world. As the other reviewer says, the holes are small. I'm not sure where they get "5/8inch hole punch", but I measure the center of the hole to be 1.1cm away from the edge of the paper, with the total diameter of the hole at 0.55cm. Yes, I realize that I'm saying it in cms rather than inches, but it's more accurate on my tape measure that way. Additionally, I realize that maybe I'm just not understanding what they're measuring when they say the size of the hole punch...Due to these technicalities, I am not rating it a full 5 stars. Take it all with a grain of salt; that's why I'm clarifying the numbers here.

PERFECT
Great little hole punch - small enough to fit in your pocket, and can punch ~3 thick index cards at once (I haven't tried paper-it can presumably handle 3-4 pieces of regular thickness paper). The collection reservoir can easily hold 40-50(?) little holes, and it has NEVER inadvertently opened up on me spilling little dots everywhere. After emptying, I know the collection reservoir is securely shut because it clicks. Every couple hundred punches it may jam, but what hole punch doesn't? To fix it, just squeeze it as if hole-punching something and it fixes itself every time. A fun little bonus: there is a 2mm (diameter) hole on one of the metal sides which is useful for storing this handy little tool on a keychain, string, binder keyring, etc. I am VERY happy with this purchase and even though my original is still working perfectly, I will buy another to have a spare. The colors are assorted; I received a royal blue one.

Perfect size!
This is a very tiny hole punch- perfect to carry around without extra weight. There is a tiny hole on the side that you could add a small ring to so that it could be added to a key ring or lanyard. I received the clear color, which is what I was hoping for.

Small but good
This is a very small hole punch (which is great if you want one to put in your pencil pouch) but not as heavy duty as you might want for a home office. Also, the hole is slightly smaller than average (which again can be both a pro and a con depending on what you want.) Overall, I would recommend it, though unless you need a really heavy duty hole punch or an exact binder paper-sized hole punch.Pros:Small sizeSmaller than average size hole (would be great for crafting)Cons:Small size (not most durable ever)Smaller than average size hole (won't match binder paper holes)

Great but then stops working
I loved it, loved the size, but it stopped working after only a few times. This is because I used too many sheets, however there is no way to adjust the piercing mechanism. Not sturdy like the old fashioned single hole punch.

Tiny & Handy for travel and light jobs
Nice and compact. I wouldn't recommend for heavy usage. Punches smaller holes than regular hole puncher but fits binder rings fine. It's what I was looking for for travel and light hole punching. The photo I'm sharing shows the smaller hole punch next to a standard loose-leaf paper hole. It's also as far into the page as it can reach to punch. It doesn't reach further into the page.

Broke the first time I used it
Not good quality. After using it on cardstock paper as soon as it arrived, it broke immediately. Do not recommend purchasing.
