Hi there! Crayola products are certified non-toxic. Crayola art materials also carry the statement "Conforms to ASTM D-4236" to show we conform to these standards as well. The Mini Twistables contain colorants that may stain, and are not in our washable line. If you have any further questions, please contact us at Crayola.com/support. Have a colorful day!

Q: Do they stain sofas or carpets?

Since the Crayola twistables crayons are not made with Crayola’s washable formula, I would not recommend letting children color on carpets, sofas or walls with them as the pigments in them may stain those surfaces. I would suggest supervising small children while using these. Crayola twistables products are not recommended for children under 3 years of age
