Rhodesy Roof Window Seal Kit for Portable Air-Conditioner

After figuring out to use sticky tape to separate the backing from the screen i was on a roll. I sprayed the window with a little soapy water and the screen. Then it stuck really well to the glass window. All looked good until bubbles started to appear. I already had a device to push out the bubbles as non came with the screen. Also no cutter with the screen. In situ it does give off a mirrored view, but on closer inspection you can still see through the screen I guess i was not expecting that. It does reflect the heat but also the light which now makes my hallway much darker. With this in mind i will not be using the left over as i was going to do on a sunny window. As the idea of a dark room is not what i was expecting. I was expecting a reflect away from UVA light but not all light.

I cannot praise this product enough. Had an issue with a very nosy next door neighbour, and was looking for a way of making my home more private from prying eyes. This product has definitely delivered on that, to the point where I have now gone full hog and put it on all the windows of my house. Can't see into the house at all now during daylight hours, and it has made me feel much more secure. It is good as a general security measure also, especially if you are going out regularly to work etc. A bit fiddly to use at first, but just taking it slowly is the key. My main advice also would be to definitely use a credit card or some sort to get rid of the air bubbles, rather than a cloth, which just doesn't work aswell. Would definitely recommend this product.

Good product does the job, Just very hard to get out all the air bubbles and little Mark's.-Update!Bought it again as i thought it gotta just be me doing it wrong, Didnt realise there was instructions in the tube you get and used soapy water and its came out perfect no water bubbles or marks at all!Highly Recommend.

Brilliant product. I live directly on the street and nosey passers by were a problem, not anymore , total privacy(and great entertainment value with passers by as they fix their hair and check their make up in the mirror finish 😀 )Easy to apply . Water in a spray bottle is your friend when doing this. Great adhesion don't forget to remove rhe protective film first though great product. Reasonable price

I’d suggest not buying this.Ours came with a big crease down the middle of it. It’s not very easy to apply, not very easy to cut and peels off quite easily.I sent it back for a refund in the end. It’s overpriced for the low quality it is.

unfortunately this turned into a disaster when i tried to take off the foil protective film which turned over onto itself and stuck together and when i tried to disintangle it it caused the film to badly crease which when i tried it on the window it looked ghastly.so in the end i had to throw this away!i,m not a rich man so this was a big blow to throw £20 away.oh well.......

Really easy to install it, however need to measure really well. The film is a bit darker than I expected, but it really has a mirror effect from the outside and protects from sun really well. Happy with the purchase

Not that easy to to get the backing off you need a lot of patience. But a good product.
