I set this up with two probes in two chicken breasts in a slow cooker. The default "well done" temps for chicken in the app are set to 145F. That is WRONG. Recommended internal temperature is 165F!!The unit that is connected to the probes/meat does not have any alarms and for me, the bluetooth doesn't reach downstairs so the "alarm when done" didn't work very well, I had to keep checking.Another problem is that the product images show a different app than what is actually compatible with the product and unfortunately that had been part of my decision process and it turns out to be false advertising.It's still better than having to keep opening up the slow cooker to find out the temps (and losing heat and moisture), but spend a little more and don't have these problems... or get salmonella by not knowing the target temps are wrong.

This thing is a cheap piece of you know what. The bluetooth has a range of about 18 inches, so what's the point? Very fragile...within 2 weeks of use, one of the outlets stopped working altogether, leaving me with only working probe. About 50% of the time, the alarm doesn't go off when it supposed to, resulting in overcooked meat and wasted money. Please do not buy this product.

Use this thermometer today to steam my frozen fish, save me a lot of times and very convenient tool to use. I like so much that I don’t have to look after it while running other errands. After pair with my phone, it will alert me when it is fully cooked. Convenient tools for me.

This is a great product and I really like the dual display that's easy to read. The only issue is the Bluetooth connection, seems like it only gets about 10-15 feet max but for this price I don't really care. I have used this about a dozen times now and am happy with my purchase.

Bluetooth disconnects at 15'. The whole reason I got this was so that I could walk away from the grill/oven and be notified when to return. Can't leave the kitchen without it disconnecting. Returned.

Not reliable, lasted less than 6 months.

It only works up to 10 feet then i have to re-pair my connection.the base unit works fine but i need the bluetooth connection.I'm very disappointed.

Does not shut off. Battery dies after a month. After 4 months unit just shuts off after five min. 10 foot bluetooth range.
