Very clear instructions and photos. The projects are meant for very thin copper or aluminum and art craft oriented. I am more interested in fine art techniques but still found it useful. Also they sell some tools that are unique and very handy.

Got some good ideas from this book, glad I bought it.

Great book with lots of do-able ideas.

It's okay, guess I expected more ideas, but it was worth the purchase price. Wish someone would write something much more comprehensive on this subject.

This was just okay, I was hoping to find patterns and better ideas but it can be helpful.

In this book, Cheryl Darrow covers all aspects of embossing metal, with profuse photos and clear instructions. Pictured are an array of metals, the tools used to emboss it, additional supplies that are needed, various techniques, and a list of resources at the end of the book. You'll find Cheryl's link under "Contributing Artists" on the resources page. Be sure to visit Cheryl's Ten Seconds Studio, where tools and supplies can be purchased, including Cheryl's line of embossing plates, stamps and Cheryl's instructional DVD. I hope others will find Cheryl's book and website as delightful a surprise as I did. Highly recommended!

I needed a book on intermediate projects for metal embossing and some projects that test my skill and teach me something new. Don't let the size of the book fool you. It's packed with info and the techniques are those that you can use in much more than just one project. Worth every penney
