is this test light just for 12 volts or will it do 12 and 24 volts

The description tells you it’s suitable for 6v and 12v systems.

Dose any one know what the current draw is on the test light

Hi, In answer to your question re current draw my Fluke 79 III true rms registers it at 152 milli-amps. My cheeper but brand new Kaiweets model HT208D meter measures the current draw at 176 milli amps through it’s induction clamp ammeter section. (That was on th 60 amp scale so not too accurate at such low currents.) There is nothing in the way of in-line resistors etc and the rest of the cable and crocodile clip measure out at 0.1 ohms. It’s just a test light with a small low wattage red coloured lamp. The best thing about it is it’s compactness and a short but sharp narrow tip, certainly my favourite go to one.. If you have read my review of this test lamp then you might also have read my review of the test lamp with the built-in voltmeter. If so and if it will help the current draw on that one is a meagre 0.006 Amps (6 milli-amps) obviously the electronic meter inside being of very high resistance draws next to nothing in current.
