EDIT: Since leaving this review, the seller has sent me no less than a half dozen emails attempting to bribe me to take down this review. So I will be changing this from a three star to a one star, not because of the candles, but because of the sellers incessant emails.The candles look alright, but they aren’t the luminary candles that were in another review. They have the solid “flame” shaped bulb, but there are two light modes which is cool.Three stars because 3 of my candles don’t work right. They turn on with the flip of the switch and then respond to the remote for thirty seconds, then they turn off and go unresponsive.One star because the seller wont leave me alone.

Purchased two of the B#5 glass pillar candles. Purchased as-is to save several dollar and didn't receive the remote even though it listed them in LIKE NEW condition. Since there were batteries already in candles assum they had been used when needed then returned with out the remote. I contacted company to see if I could purchase a remote as main reason I purchased them was for the timer feature which requires a remote. They were of no help at all but luckily I have a remote from other companies candles that works sufficiently. If the price hadn't been so good I woud have returned but actually LOVE the candles. I have them in bedroom and master bath and actually had to turn some off as rooms were so well lit up. Definatelly recommend the candles,just didn't get the customer service I would have liked.

Let me start by saying I love the look of these candles. They are lovely as it gets darker. I set them up in different places around the house and set the timer function for 4 hours in the evening. Unfortunately half of the candles quit working after two weeks. They would come on at 5:30 but some would turn off 20-30 minutes after they came on. Sometimes I would wake up the next morning and 1 or 2 candles would still be on, when they should have turned off at 9:30. I resorted to turning them on manually in the evening but still I would have several that would turn off on their own. I am disappointed with the candles because I can’t rely on them to come on at 5:30 and turn off at 9:30.

I have always been a purist when it comes to candles and have never been a fan of the "fake" and flameless candles... until now! We purchased some of these for some large outdoor lanterns that we have under our covered porch. These have changed my mind and I will always have these types of candles now. Using a remote control to turn them on and off is ridiculously easy. I don't have the mess of having to use matches now or the mess of melted candle wax. The flickering option also gives me enough of a "real" candle look that I don't mind not having real flames either. Have to say this is much safer than real candles, as well. Our puppy knocked over a lantern that was sitting on the porch floor and candles fell out of the broken glass onto the rug and there was not danger of a fire. If you have children or pets, this is a great option for you! Much safer than open flames.

My only bugaboo with these is that when they are on the color is more on the yellow side instead of white. They're very pretty tho, and once I messed with changing the brightness on some and some on solid and some flickering they look pretty close to real (minis the yellow hugh). Ive already given them as gifts to my mom anf grandma as well and they love em too. They actually look and feel like real candles. For the price these are totally worth it. Male sure you have 18 AA batteries bv each candle takes 2. I picked up 3 packs at the dollar tree and they've lasted 3 weeks so far!

I have a shelf that I have had since I was a kid but since I have a narrow hallway I had to hang it up higher on the wall then I would like to do and there are not any areas in that hallway that get much natural light so I wanted to get someway to light up my collectibles without having to turn on any lights. These work well because I can put them on the shelf and use the remote control to turn them on and off. It’s easier To do it then removing the candles every time. Only problem is is that you have to get really close with the remotes and to control all of the candles there are two different remotes so you’re not sure which one works. I’m not sure how good the battery life is yet but I will figure that out. They each run in on two AA batteries

These add just the right amount of elegance to my dining room table. The timer is perfect for those nights that I just want to let the candles add that little "something special" to the room for a while. I love the remote control feature, it saves you from having to pick up the candles and turn them off and on. It's great! Just a simple click of the button and the flames actually look real.

I liked these so much that after a year of great use, I bought another set of nine candles! Rechargeable batteries only last a month at the 8-hour setting, (batteries sold separately), but I'm committed to reducing waste, so I don't mind swapping them out. I love the remotes that come with these candles! Customizing the time they turn on and the duration they're lit, as well as flame flicker, saves battery life. I have these in house windows, as well as in bathrooms and living room. I have them set to turn on at dusk, and stay on 8 hours. These are absolutely perfect bathroom night lights!

The media could not be loaded.  My wife loves candles, but during winter when you can't have your windows open, it is not ideal to have real candles and smoke.What you may like1. The battery cover and on/off switch are a little flimsy and plasticky, but as long as you are gentle, it should be fine.

I am really unhappy by these candles. When I first received them I loved them, but within a week, 4 stopped working and should be thrown out. Let me explain the problem with these four: they flash and flash and flash when they like it and then they stop flashing when they like it. Their flashing is so irritating. They are not candles, they are like firecrackers and who wants to watch firecrackers? I worried they might be exploding and causing a fire. I could not turn them off using the remote and I had to remove the batteries from them.I want to return them, but I am not sure how to do this at this moment with being stuck at home with the restrictions due to the corona virus.I am really unhappy. I should have listened to some of the reviews, but I was hoping that the reviews would be wrong.

These are really lovely for the price, I'm actually surprised by how good they look and I should point out the great customer service, the first set I ordered had a faulty remote control, I contacted rhem and was given a code for a replacement, low and behold a complete set arrived with working remote. I fully recommend these candles and the company selling them..

I'm very fussy with what I perceive to be nice looking 'fake' candles and didn't want anything too cheesy or yellow looking. I ordered multiple sizes of these and they are absolutely brilliant. I am so impressed. The remote lets you choose between candle and light mode - so they flicker or don't and you can also adjust the brightness via the remote. I haven't tried the timers yet but am not sure I even care about those functions to be honest! The colour is very realistic and not too yellow at all - in my opinion they are just right. The wick on each candle gently sways about. Super happy with these!

I love these candles. They are real wax and when the flickering light is on they are so realistic. I was looking for a set I could divide and use in two rooms, and luckily this set comes with two remotes so you can split the set if you need to and use in seperate rooms. I also love that you can set them for two, four, or six hours. A great purchase.
