Solid and reliable! Didn't burn out
I got this to build a step in an escape room. I wanted to change the orientation of the latch for mounting. It is fairly simple to take apart. A C clip holds the latch wedge in the housing so it can be snapped off, rotated and snapped back on. Be careful not to strip the wires when putting the housing back on like I did. I also left 12V running though it while working on another circuit for about more than 5 min straight. It got really hot but still works fine! Super satisfied with the quality and it's actually bigger than I expected. Good buy.

Gets stuck a lot
It cant have any resistance against the mechanism or it will be stuck

Works good
Works great. Have it on a transmitter relay to unlock and lock. Only con is that when left energized it will get hot. Going to wire a buzzer in line so I will never accidentally leave it on.

Doesn't really work.
Only works when there is zero pressure on the latch. When I close the cabinet and it latches, there's apparently enough tension by the cabinet door to not unlock the latch. Doesn't serve much of a purpose of I can't use a door with the lock!
