Avoid, I paid £40 for this unit and it didn’t last long at all. There are some for £10, it will be the same quality. Here’s to reducing cost and cheap Chinese made parts.Avoid

It worked really well and was very easy to fit..so far doing a great job.

Worked successfully as replacement for GT OMEGA PRO Racing Chair (pre 2018 release) tilt lock and lever mechanism.

It is garbage, it creaks every single time you move in the chair, I have tried everything to make it stop but the fact is the Jaws of the tilt touch way before they've stopped traveling mean that it's intrinsic.So, you lean back, they scrape to gether and it creaks, Sit up again and it creaks at the start and when it reaches the top. It's awful. It is so loud it means you can't really sit in it if somebody is trying to sleep anywhere in the house. I have tried to dampen it with rubber, tightening the spring, loosening the spring, copper slip, grease, dry chain lube. Nothing works it's just crap. maybe look to changing the mechanism to a different system because the original GT Omega base was awful too. If you can find and adapt a Secret labs chair tilt and use that....that will be better regardless of the cost.

Lasted 5 months before the metal attaching the gas strut bent meaning the chair tilts to the side.I wouldn't buy it again! Bery disappointed

Didn't last long. Began to twist pretty soon after I got it, so the seat sits wonky, and eventually bent at the front, tipping it forward. As others have said, very creaky too.
