Not a very good contraption, I would not recommend it to anyone
I've bought this product twice. Not a very good contraption, I would not recommend it to anyone. When using the camera there's a constant strange buzzing noise from the speaker. This noise is apparent on both Byron systems I bought and is obviously a flaw within this range.

Brilliant Buy!!
The Byron Elro Video Door Intercom is in my opinion a very good product ..well made..has a nice flat screen.. good picture quality. My only disappointment was that the description details led me to believe there was 30 metres of wiring but it actually only had 10 metres...it says the intercom wiring can be extended upto 30 metres. Therefore be aware that extra wire may be required. I am very pleased with this purcgase

Very good unit . Works well with the additional handset. Easy to wire. Video screen not HD but does the job nicely.

Poor quality for price
I chose the brand to replace an older model which died after many years service. The door push is robust but the inside viewer seemed flimsy and I am sure the section underneath the screen need not be that big. Easy to wire up, instruction sheet not that brilliant.Unfortunately after fitting it all and switching on there was something basically wrong with it. The intercom which should hear the voice of somebody outside only produced a loud screech and even a hissing sound whenever a car/bike passed by on the road (some distance away).The screen produced a clear picture but could not get true colours.So packed up and returned for refund as I did not want to try a replacement as it just did not seem good value for money even if the audio side worked.

Very poor description
I am looking for something like this but find the description totally useles For example the product dimensions....is the unit really that big?? Come on people please at least try and describe the unit. What are its capabilities, what is the purpose of the 30 m cable. Is it a power supply or is it the video feed? I have not signed up to any of the mind reader guilds so I need you to tell me EXACTLY what size each unit is, how far can the camera alledgedly see at night, what is the angle of vision. Etc Etc.
