Try it out itโs worth it!!
Works great! Plugged right into my Kenworth semi. Didnโt need the hardwire connections, screen is durable, it looks super sleek, and installation was a breeze. Good upgrade over stock

Screen it buggy
I used this product in my 2012 mini Cooper, and it seems to have a lot of issues with touch correction. Never fails I can't select setting to fix the touch correction, or screen just doesn't respond. After no help from the makers of this product I reached out to Amazon who was finally able to provide me with a replacement that functions correctly. The company doesn't seem to listen and was otherwise unhelpful. Which is a shame as it is a great product (when I get one that works correctly)

Decent radio, touch screen is not very responsive. Wiring diagram leaves something to be desired.
I bought this radio to replace a very old unit from the mid 80's on a classic car. Wiring is pretty straightforward, but, the diagram provided is pretty bad. It should have a color coded guide for the wires at the minimum, but instead just tells you the pins on the plug. That's okay if you know what you're doing, but inexperienced persons might not understand which pin is which on the connectors. It's easy to reverse the order and the plug does not (as far as I can tell) denote what pin is which. Maybe I'm just spoiled with labelled aircraft cannon plugs. Another little gripe is that the wires are a type that has a slice in the insulation for easy wire stripping. This is great, but the slice leaves a wire that is far too long for the average butt connector so it has to be cut down. Volume is reasonable and is louder than the unit I replaced. Don't expect this unit to drive lots of speakers really loud without an amplifier, but this is not the fault of the unit...you get what you pay for. For an enclosed vehicle the volume is enough for normal listening. It could be my speakers, but I have no indications they're being over driven (and therefore at maximum volume) by this unit. The touch screen seems to have problems registering touches on the corners. This makes switching between apps on car play not ideal. It's a very small screen however, so this might be due to the icons being so small. The screen is also low resolution but even being so small maps and apps are readable. Unless someone has vision issues I do not see a problem, and to be frank, if one does have vision issues a screen this small is not a good choice. There were no issues connecting to my phone and the UI seems reasonably well thought out. There's supposedly a mic for talking on the phone but I doubt it will work well in my convertible with wind noise. overall, If you're looking for a cheap "quality of life" upgrade for a classic vehicle with a single DIN radio slot without having to take a hacksaw to your dash, I think this is a reasonable choice. It's not going to knock your socks off, but value for the money is good and it feels adequately made quality wise. It's best feature is that it's unobtrusive and not gaudy, so It can fit into a lot of different dashboards on classic vehicles without being obnoxious and attention grabbing.

Excellent screen resolution!!
This is by far the best CarPlay screen out there and for the price you will not be disappointed. I purchased 4 units from various different manufacturers because I wanted to see what the screens looked like in person vs the images on reviews and on the listing. A lot of them had ok screens but were just not HD quality. Colors were not accurate and depending on how you looked at the screen, it would be hazy or not clear. I ultimately ended up keeping this one because the screen is top tier. My only wish is they offered a 9โ version so you could have a larger screen for the car. But the 7โ works just fine as well. You will definitely not regret getting this screen. Hoping it holds up and lasts well for my sonโs car.

Supports Wireless Android auto and carplay and has a really bright screen
The screen on this is very bright which is helpful because other similar products have dim screens. The setup for my Android auto was not too complex. Though I did have to unpair the Bluetooth and repair it to get it to work initially. Now it connects automatically. I'm streaming the sound through the FM transmitter on my radio but it also supports aux cable. Sometimes the FM transmitter is a little staticky and my original transmitter that this replaced was not. I would recommend this screen and I'm considered buying one or two more to give out his Christmas gifts.

Excellent!
Very pleased with this smart screen. After ordering and trying numerous, and I mean it, numerous brands and designs, 7" and 9" smart screens I finally found one with great, intuitive interface and all the features working as they should. My main problem with others was that everything worked but the mirror link. Even when it was advertised I was never able to get it to work. Not the wireless and not even the wired one. This screen offers both with easy, understandable set up. Screen is very good and responsive. Don't know what people are complaining about. Plus, it offers charger with double USB ports. As far as FM noise and interference, it's all about your charging cord routing. What I learned is that power cord is acting as an additional antenna. Try to move it, relocate it until you get maximum clarity. To sum it up, I would definitely recommend this smart screen to anyone who got an older car and would like to bring in modern technology without braking a bank
