Smells great! Helps groom with no crunch!
I very much enjoy this "Beard Butter"At first, I had a hard time distinguishing the types of beard products. But I narrowed it down to 3: Balm, Butter, and Oil.Balm is stickier and leaves a heavier texture on your beard but styles and shapes ok..Oil smells good, and somewhat moisturizes (moreso for your skin than your hair), but does nothing to help style for me.BUTTER however... Is perfect. Its smooth and light, soft, and not crunchy. When used in the appropriate way you can get some hold to a style, some softness and a good smell all at the same time.I do recommend you style the beard first, dry and straighten, or however you do it up first. Then add the butter and feel the difference! It definitely makes my beard feel healthier. It keeps it from getting dry and has minimal transfer issues after 10-15 minutes (so like it wont rub off from touching other things by accident after that usually).Lovely product, I have purchased before and will continue to until I can't find it!

Smells good. Works great
I purchased a different scent from this company previously and I did not like the smell at all. However, this scent is great. The smell is long lasting throughout the day. It melts well in your hands and it's easy to work into my beard (I have a long thicker beard). It is a true butter and not a balm, wax, paste, like some butters end up being. It does not provide long lasting hold, but it is a butter so I didn't expect that. Overall, I really like this scent and product.

Good beard butter but expensive
This beard balm is good, but it's also expensive. The balm melts quickly and is easy to work into my beard. I like the scent but it does dissipate a bit quickly.vthe jar is only 2 ounces and a "light" 2 ounces at that. By that I mean that most of these containers give you a bit over the listed weight but not these guys. If you don't mind the price, this is a quality product.

Exceptional Beard Butter
I've been using the Detroit Grooming Co. Beard Butter in the Belle Isle scent, and it's nothing short of amazing! From the moment you open the jar, you're hit with a refreshing and balanced blend of lavender and orange. It's not overpowering but leaves a pleasant, subtle scent that stays with you all day, giving your beard a fresh touch that feels premium and sophisticated. In terms of performance, this beard butter delivers on every front. It softens the beard immediately, making it much more manageable for styling. My beard has become noticeably softer, fuller, and easier to control since using it, and the shea butter and safflower oil provide long-lasting hydration without feeling greasy.I’ve also noticed increased thickness and overall health of my beard. This product nourishes and rejuvenates with every use, which is perfect for those aiming for a thicker, more substantial beard.I also appreciate that it's made in the USA with all-natural ingredients, so I know I’m using a product that’s good for my beard and the environment. If you're serious about beard care, the Belle Isle Beard Butter is a must-have addition to your grooming routine! Highly recommend!

Great balm, smell is not man-ly at all.
Very nice and workable product, melts well in the plan for application. There are very nice smells of tobacco and vanilla but yhw cedar is not spicwy like cedar should be.There is a overwhelming smell of something like honey suckle or some perfume like smell that is very off putting.Sadly I have tried it on my beard once and the smell was so string I cannot use it again.Without the perfume overtone it would smell awesome, sadly it takes over and ruins the quality of the product.I bought based on all the positive reviews, but the smell isn't man-ly at all and my most important critic - the wife said nope nope nope.Sorry guys this one struck out for me.
