This is my first mechanical keyboard and I love it! It’s heavy, substantial — nice!! I got the linear red switches because it was likely closest to what I was used to with my previous keyboard. (You might want to test some switches out in person before you choose, or just get the hot swappable version and you can switch them out easy.) The switches are very sensitive — at first I thought the keyboard was having some sort of issue because keys would “randomly” get activated… but it turns out I was brushing against keys ever so slightly without realizing it and activating them. Wow! After I became aware of that, I made an effort to press lighter and have a gentler hand when typing. It’s been a few weeks and I’m completely used to this guy now. My hands feel better when typing because I’m not hammering the keys to get them to activate like with my old membrane keyboard. I really like the software on this keyboard as well. I was able to remap keys, customize the lighting, and adjust sleep time to make it my own. The Bluetooth device switching works flawlessly as well. My only teeny, tiny gripe is the shift key is smaller than I’m used to on the right side and it’s taking a little more time to get used to that, but this wasn’t unexpected. I did add some silicone rings to the keycaps to make typing a little quieter so I wouldn’t disturb my housemates. It’s quite a tall keyboard, which took some getting used to for me. I added a Keychron silicone wrist rest and it’s perfect now. Here’s a photo with a custom set of keycaps (when it came to me it looked just like the photo in the listing — the caps are not included). The customization possibilities are endless! I’m so happy with this guy. I can’t believe I waited this long to get a mechanical keyboard. Loving my Keychron!!

I've only used it a week. But it's very well built. A pleasure to type on.
