Great keyboard for working professional
The MX silent red keys are perfect for my office setting. Professional looking and feels great to type on for extended periods.Had an issue with a faulty USB-C wire, but customer service had a replacement shipped overnight. Because of the quick replacement and quality customer service I am giving a full 5-star review.

Great build quality
Great build quality, the PBT keycaps are great, and the design plus silent red switches are perfect for work. Silent reds can be a little scratchy though, but that is a cherry problem, not a problem with this board.

Great board. Wack USB C reliability: makes no sense
very pleased. keeping silent requires damping, and this inherently is going to have a particular feel, a mush in the mx silent reds. never the less, i am very pleased and am recommending to others. however, warning, there is some weirdness with regards to the usb c connectors. for some reason a usb c to usb c cable won’t work on macbook pro. maybe a firmware patch could fix this, but overall usb c to usb c cables are not working right now, for no apparent reason. if Typist has an answer for this, i will change back up to a 5 star.

Junk, Stopped Working After One Day, Waste of Time
This keyboard that I purchased through Amazon stopped working after less than 24 hours of use! I decided to purchase this quiet version to make the work from home situation easier for my partner. I planned to switch away from a keyboard that I love to use (the ducky one) but it is a bit too clacky to be around all day. Anyway, I plugged in the mx keyboard and started working last night. In the middle of my work day today, it stopped working. No good at all. Not that I should have to, but I restarted my computer, tried a different port, and plugged and re-plugged this keyboard in. Nothing works. A keyboard should never fail, esp after 24 hours. Strong do not buy recommendation. Instead go direct to MechanicalKeyboards.com or something; hard to tell what you are going to get from Amazon.

Awesome solid, understated and quiet keyboard
I've been using this keyboard for 6 months now in a professional office environment. It's a VERY solid keyboard that is a pleasure to type on. They keyboard has a very hefty weight to it, and is rock solid. No flex, no bounce, no thing. It's a solid chunk of stability. Much more solid feeling than my Corsair Strafe RGB Silent (also has the same Cherry Red Silent switches). The keys on this MK Typist board feel solid and have no ringing when pressed. This is the perfect keyboard for a professional office environment, where I use it on a daily basis. Quiet, professional looking, with some useful features (I like the calculator key especially). The PBT doubleshot keycaps feel great. I also like that they include a nice clear dust cover to keep dust at bay over the evenings/weekends, as well as a keycap puller. My only dislikes on the board are the fake LED dot on the capslock key (the capslock LED is over on the upper right) and the placement of the indicator LEDs. When seated and typing, the LEDs are hidden behind the top row of the tenkey group. I can only see the LEDs if I sit up and look over the keys. These are very minor nitpicks. Also, I just ordered a new set of "Good in Blue" MK/Ducky keycaps from MechanicalKeyboards, and it appears they've eliminated the fake LED dot on the capslock key now, so that's great.Another thing to note, is that they've released a new firmware version on their website which reduces the LED intensity for the lock indicator LEDs. With the version of firmware that shipped with my board (v.03) they were quite bright, though I can't see them when seated anyway so they don't bother me. But with v.06 (and maybe earlier versions of firmware too) the LEDs are much dimmer...enough to see which are activated, but not enough to bother if you work in a dim space. Another nice improvement! An overall great board that I'm extremely happy with.

not silent
this keyboard is not silent as advertised. the usb-c connector is defective and loses connection when keyboard is moved.
