Portable 3D Printer Filament PLA 3.0mm Black

The media could not be loaded.  I had a really tough time getting this plastic to print well. Platform adhesion on the first layer was the #1 problem. I've never had a plastic that was so tough to get to stick to my heated glass bed. It would pull up during tight curves and mess up the print. I was gonna send it back right away but, I was determined to make it print.I finally got it to stick to the bed by slowing the first layer down to 20/mms and increasing the nozzle heat to 240. After completing a print, I wasn't thrilled with the results. the outer layer was a lot worse than prints with other brands of PLA(Colorfabb, Faberdashery, Gizmo Dorks). In the end I decided "trouble vs result" wasn't worth it. It's not horrible but, I like hassle free printing. I'll keep this roll and use it for unimportant prints.UPDATE: I increased my rating to 4 stars. I was able to print very good with this PLA once I printed on Kapton tape. Initial layer adhesion was great. If it printed on bare glass it would get 5 stars. I'm now printing at my normal temperature of 210 and speed of 75mm/s and the prints come out great! Glad I kept at it with this product.

Prints clean, just as described! I was happily surprised that it came on a reel.

I have a printer by Plastibot and this is the first type I used. The print layers weren't adhering to each other and it kept flaking off. I did some digging (googling) and found out that this company recommends a minimum of 180 to run this plastic. Not sure if this is just this type of plastic or what but it seems to be working great now. I almost rated this 4 stars because there was a big hole in the bag when delivered but who knows who did it. It did have a decanter though! Good buy! Recommended!
