I love it can't wait to start working on it.

I haven’t started this project but I have done it before. It’s the second time I will be doing this particular project and I’m super excited about it. This project is very very fun to work on. Usually I get tired of a project and will take a break from it for a few weeks because I can get tired of looking at the same colors over and over. This project is absolutely beautiful and colorful. I didn’t get tired of working on this one because there were so many colors and it wasn’t repetitive. I enjoyed working on this one every step of the way so much that I’m doing it again. I am giving the first one away to a friend but I loved it so much I wanted one for myself so I bought it again. I definitely recommed this one. You’ll have a great time working on it. Keep in mind the picture I posted is from the first one I did and it does need to be washed because I never cleaned it when I finished it.

Beautiful design and lovely colours.

The cross stitch was supposed to come with dark blue and extra dark blue thread, but they’re exactly the same color. I checked multiple times, especially in the daytime and natural light.

Bigger than I thought it would be, but the pattern is beautiful. I would buy from this seller. I can't wait to see the finished product!

Gorgeous pattern. It is a counted cross stitch so the pattern isn't printed directly on the fabric. The pattern that came with the fabric was clear, and gave you a recommended order to do the parts in. It also came with a clear overview of how to do each type of stitch which is great for beginners or people who haven't cross stitched in a while. The squares and holes ARE tiny, so if that is a problem this probably won't be a great design for you to do. I was worried about running out of thread so I used as much as possible then had lots left over, so as long as you don't waste thread you will have plenty and don't need to painstakingly use every last bit.Note: I accidentally used an extra strand of thread for the tree outline in my picture, but because there are no half stitches I think I actually like it better this way because it looks smoother.

This piece is just exquisite. I love the gold thread weaved through the obi. I made a couple changes ... Japanese art is very simple and the background stitching makes the piece look very busy. I took those out after just a few rows and I like it much better without them. I also omitted the green lazy daisy stitches on the obi. It's probably because I'm not very good at making them, but I like the piece much better without them. It looks fabulous in a deeply matted picture frame (so the stitches aren't squished). I'm starting the companion piece, "elegant geisha" today --- can't wait!The directions/legend are very good and I love the pre-sorted thread. The 18 count Aida can be a little difficult to work with, but I like the look much better. "Mai" has a lot of very delicate lines that would be difficult to accomplish with larger squares.Took me a couple weeks to complete - working on it for a few hours each day.

The design is just what I was looking for. I bought it to coordinate with the larger Samurai  Dimensions Needlecrafts Counted Cross Stitch, The Mighty Samurai . Just like the larger kits, fabric and all floss is included, neatly separated and labeled. There is only the one cross-stitch needle with this kit though, so you'll need your own sharper needle for outlining. The directions come in several languages and the pattern chart is the same easy to read size as in the regular kits. I am well satisfied with Dimensions kits, and their Gold Collection Petites make very nice accent pieces.

The dimensions given on this product are wrong. It is only 12.7 cm x 17,7 cm. I thought the cross stitch would be much bigger so I am disappointed as I could have purchased the same item cheaper elsewhere. I chose this one as I thought it was a larger

Value for money but not sure for beginners

Cross stitch kit arrived really quickly. The only problem I have found is that the chart that you work from is really hard to read. The symbols are quite small. Trying to get the chart enlarged which will help a great deal.

Arrived as expected and in perfect condition. The materials given in the project are good quality. I found the project to be a fun experience to see how it was coming together. The outcome looked beautiful, the colours compliment themselves so well. I have always been pleased with the brand as i have sewn many of their kits in the past.
