AIRCARE1041 Replacement Console Wick (1)

This one is a actual aircare wick and not a knockoff. You can tell the difference if you've ever bought one that wasnt as the quality just isn't the same. These last about an extra month or two with mine running 24/7 at full blast everyday for the last 3 years. It helps to buy the exact aircare filter for the back and not a knockoff and to buy the humidifier cleaner as you only need a cap full for a full 5 gallon tank, so two caps everytime you fill it up and it comes in a two pack that will last about the length of the filter and wick.I would highly recommend to anyone needing a replacement wick for their aircare humidifier as this is the best quality one you're going to find and is from the manufacturer itself.

We have air care humidifier for last few years . This replacement consoles or filters are little pricey compared to other generic brands but works great . We order them every year & they arrive very quickly also .

My AirCare console humidifier is stationed right above my main heating vent, and adds its evaporative contribution to the air stream emanating from that vent. I do find that the absorbent pad builds up a slime in the little water pool, and the residue from that scum seems to inhibit the water from being transferred up via osmosis in the evaporating pad, which consequently limits the desired evaporative pad area, thereby reducing the efficiency of the humidifier. I use Reverse Osmosis water exclusively, so there is little or no calcium buildup, but this slime wears down the efficiency in rapid fashion, necessitating frequent media changes.

Those wick filters are very important. They get gunky 2with water crystals and stuff an your last warning to replace them is when they start to smell even if you use the water treatment solution. Always keep a spare. Keep in mind, our water and air is not what they say.

I used to go to the store and hope they had my filter and had not run out. Now I just order it online and have it in a day or two. Bonus it is cheaper than the store, so double bonus I save time and money, can't ask for more than that.

Fit perfectly. It was an actual brand name and not a generic filter. Would buy again.

We had previously purchased this replacement last season, and it held up for the entire winter. Purchased a much less expensive filter in September for the same humidifier. After weeks of intense struggling to get the new one to hold water, I again purchased this replacement filter. 8 months later, and it's still doing it's job. Just get the one that works!
