As another poster mentioned, the necklace came very knotted up. It took me @45 mins to un-knot this very fine chain with two pins slowly separating what I could little by little. Other than that, it came packaged in a plastic bag, inside a nice box. The necklace is exactly what I was looking for. The pearl is beautiful. I like that the chain has an extender.... I got the 14-16 inch necklace. I have a small neck.... it's perfect at the 14 inch length. I think if the seller could wrap the chain around some foam or cotton before putting it in the plastic bag, it might help. Also the end of my chain was attached to the closest link on the extender piece, which left the extender part to knot tightly around the rest of the necklace. It might help if the spring ring could be attached to the furthest link in the extender chain, then wrapped around some foam and put in the plastic bag. I'm so glad I didn't have to return this pearl necklace, because I really love it.
