Male, 18 yrs. First-time figure skater learning in order to physically supplement my rock climbing. I was strongly recommended these skates by my significant other, who has been competitively figure skating skating for 12 years, and they have been marvelous so far. In an industry where quality skates can range over $1000, this affordable beginner pair has strong leather, a sturdy blade, and has given me no noticeable impediments to my performance on the ice as I practice.NOTE: I am writing this from the perspective of an extreme novice at the sport, but from that perspective, I am loving these skates so far. I used the measurement chart to gauge my size, and they fit excellently for me (size 10). The blade is not sharpened, which is normal, but it was easy to take it to the nearest figure skating shop for sharpening and fitting of my blade guards. Highly recommend this for beginner figure skaters -- from myself, my significant other (a "real" figure skater), and from the shop owner who sharpened my blade.

I bought these skates for my teenage son and he has used them several times. They are of high quality and not the cheap ones you see. He's pretty rough on shoes and everything else, so I wanted to get the best in order to last a long time. I think I made the right choice.

I’m so excited to try these babies! They arrived before the delivery date by 4 days. They fit true to size 9 and fit perfectly as I’m a 9sz in adidas sneakers especially with some puffier fluffier socks to remain really secure. The blade guards that they arrived in were a bit broken but I believe that was from delivery and the blade was still perfectly fine and sharpened. Overall beautiful skates and I can’t wait to start practicing !

Wonderful skates, our sons very first pair, fit is true to size. After having them professionally sharpened they are working beautifully, he loves them.

I have purchased Jackson Ultima figure skates for the family for the past 10 years. These are durable skates for beginner level. They provide good ankle support.

They arrived promptly and I tried them. They came sharpened which was nice. They felt very comfortable. Definitely better than rental skates. I recommend these skates.

Skates arrived quickly, and the size seems accurate, but wow, these are incredibly stiff. My only prior experience with skates were rentals, which understandably were more comfortable due to being broken in. I understand that ankle support is crucial for skating but I’m afraid these new ones will be too uncomfortable to get to the breaking-in period! Maybe this is a sign of high quality? I’ll give it a try and hope for the best.
